‘Go back to acting’: ‘The View’ fans want Whoopi Goldberg to be REPLACED on the show
Fans can't seem to forgive Whoopi Goldberg after her past gaffes on live television, which included being rude, not understanding how to use specific terminology, Holocaust remark, and mispronouncing names. The audience of 'The View' is disappointed with Goldberg as she continues to make critical mistakes and want her to be replaced so that she can concentrate on her acting career instead.
Recently fans on Reddit brought to light a February article by the New York Times that claimed that Goldberg was suspended from the show after making derogatory remarks about the Holocaust. She was given a two-week suspension despite insisting that Holocaust "wasn't about race." Goldberg has since repeatedly apologized, but the audience of the show is not buying it. They expressed their varied opinions on Reddit and thought that Goldberg should be removed from the show for being "uninformed" regarding such delicate matters. Some, on the other hand, supported Goldberg, claiming that since she had shown remorse, the suspension shouldn't have been put into effect.

However, the majority of 'The View' fans aren't happy with Goldberg because of the countless gaffes and are constantly voicing their desire to have her replaced by another person. One fan tweeted, "Please go back to acting. I loved you in ghost and sister act. The view is tarnishing you. Cut ties with that to save your soul," while another wrote, "Whoopi Goldberg is what happens when you replace history and factual education with emotional pandering."

Pronunciation is the most important skill you need to have if you want to host a successful talk show. Sara Gilbert's pronunciations have historically been corrected by Goldberg, but it turns out that Goldberg herself struggles to keep up with the variety of pronunciations. Goldberg had recently mispronounced Chloe Fineman's name from 'Saturday Night Live'. "And she's also a scene-stealer in the reboot of Father of the Bride, please welcome Chloe Fine-a-man," she said. Goldberg repeatedly apologized and corrected herself to make sure she pronounced the comedian's name correctly.
In addition, Goldberg introduced Las Culturistas, a podcast by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, despite having some difficulty pronouncing the name. After several failed attempts, she finally gave up and managed to pronounce it as Las Culturastas with the help of one of her co-hosts.
Soon after that, Goldberg started adding to her record of mistakes by forgetting names and behaving rudely on set. In the most recent broadcast, Goldberg introduced guest Ne-Yo before forgetting the name of her co-host. The Oscar-winner couldn't remember Sunny Hostin's name. Goldberg said after rapidly regaining her composure, "And I think... what's your name? Sunny...Sunny has the first question.."
When the show was filming in the Bahamas, she displayed nasty and rude conduct while making multiple on-air mistakes. Goldberg also mispronounced Chloe's name and delivered the show's outro as her cue cards were hurled into the air by a gust of wind. "Ah snap," she cursed when the paper hit her coffee mug before the cameras switched to commercials.

Recently, she was even caught being disrespectful by yelling at her co-host Sunny Hostin for giving away too little information about her future movie. These are only a few examples of Whoopi Goldberg's mistakes from the previous week, which are plenty for any fan of 'The View' to demand that a new host be called in.
