LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: When Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron were sacked from 'Dancing With the Stars' in July 2020, many fans were furious. They are still upset with the new host, Tyra Banks, especially after she made two major blunders on live television and made TWO major mishaps on the live TV premiere and tried to pass the blame on to others.

'DWTS' viewers blasted Tyra Banks for two significant gaffes during the live season premiere. The host even lambasted the show's producers, blaming them for a live TV goof. Tyra made a big on-air error on the Season 31 premiere of 'Dancing with the Stars', reading out the leaderboard after the first eight couples had danced. "At the top for now, are Daniel [Durant] and Britt [Stewart]," she remarked, although the leaderboard on the screen showed Wayne Brady and Whitney Carson at the top.

But she instantly recedes, "Oh, that was wrong. Wrong information, ok. " Tyra put her finger to her earpiece and remarked, "Ok, you're saying at the top is Wayne. Wayne is at the top with...Whitney, right ?" She added hesitantly.

It came time to go through the scores again later in the show. "After a dozen dances, here's a look at tonight's leaderboard, and the team got it right this time," she snarked, a veiled jab at the show's producers. "So sorry, Wayne, they didn't get it right the first time."

Many viewers, however, were disappointed to see the host shift the blame for her error to the production staff. On Twitter, one user wrote, "Tyra calling out the producers for 'messing up' the leaderboard? Ma'am blaming them does not make you look like you know what you're doing." "Tyra already messing it up and trying to blame the people in her ear - classic," said another. "I am so over Tyra. She has messed up so much already," another tweet read. Calling her a terrible game show host, one fan tweeted, "Tyra Banks is such a terrible game show host she is always announcing the wrong information #DWTS."

Sadly, these weren't the only goof-ups from our show host. Fans also called out for calling Koko Iwasaki the face of diversity for the show. A viewer wrote, "Tyra Banks looked an asian woman in the eye tonight and went, "it's great to have you here REPRESENTATION MATTERS" LIKE HOLY FUCK TYRA JESUS CHRIST YOU'RE A TERRIBLE HOST BUT I DIDN'T THINK YOU WERE THAT TERRIBLE. #DWTS #gettyragone." Calling the situation random and awkward another fan wrote, "Tyra Banks is so awkward. She told Koko thanks for what you represent. Representation matters. Wtf it was so random and awkward how she said it. #dwts." Another fan tweeted, "Did Tyra Banks just say on live tv that Koko is a diversity hire…can Carlton just take over #DWTS." Her comments towards Koko made fans band together asking for her replacement: "@officialdwts #dwts Can we talk about @tyrabanks comments to Koko about “representation”. Can Tyra just go away???"
