'Iron Man 3 is great holiday movie': Fans recall old MCU as 'The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special' is set to premiere

The holiday season is here! Like always, MCU has not backed down from giving their audience the taste of a holiday special-oriented movie. This year Marvel went a little bit traditional and decided to release, 'The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special' for the upcoming holiday season. Chris Pratt (Quill), Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Sean Gunn, Michael Rooker, and Zoe Saldana, reprise their roles as the Guardians from previous MCU media, with Kevin Bacon and Maria Bakalova also starring in it. 'The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special' is scheduled to be released on Disney+ just a month before Christmas as the conclusion of Phase Four of the MCU.

However, fans still miss the old MCU it seems. It is no secret how fans miss Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark aka 'Ironman' after his sacrificial death in 'Avengers: Endgame.' Regardless, fans still believe Robert Downey Jr's "Ironman 3 is the best MCU holiday movie." Can we deny that 'Ironman 3' was really extra for its time? We don't think so! And yet again fans don't disagree as well.

As the date of 'Guardian of the Galaxy Holiday Special' is closing in fans seem to be walking back to the time 'Ironman 3' was released. Apparently, it was "warmer," and cozier. It is no doubt that fans have a huge soft corner for 'Ironman' and miss their favorite superhero live in action. Can that be the reason they chose to walk down memory lane? A fan said, "Marvel was exploring more than the average Superhero movie with Iron Man 3, the world wasn't ready to admit it was a *good* movie." While another said, "Daily reminder iron man 3 is a christmas movie." Another added, "Iron Man 3 and Home Alone will always be my go-to holiday movies." A fan shared, "Iron Man 3 is literally so underrated. Tony learns that it’s not the suit that makes him a hero, it’s what he does. Then it passes it off to Peter, WHO STILL ACTIVELY FOLLOWS THAT PRINCIPLE TODAY. F**k it’s so good. Actual," while another adds, "Iron Man 3 is a great holiday movie and I love it." A fan wrote, "Favorite Xmas movie."

It is safe to say, fans still love 'Ironman' and his movies as they did before, however, the question still remains: if 'Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special' will at least live up to its expectation or out beat 'Ironman 3.' 'Guardian of the Galaxy Holiday Special' is scheduled to be released on Disney+ on November 25, 2022.
