LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The new 'Transformers' film is generating all the buzz in the movie world for his introduction of the Beast Wars timeline into an already successful franchise. ‘Rise of the Beasts’ is the seventh installment in the Transformer series and looks like the one that will surpass all the box office records set by its predecessors. Just before the release of the film in the United States, Paramount Pictures released one final trailer for the fans to savor the flavor of Autobots and Decepticons before they head to a theatre near them.

The final trailer is a mysterious glimpse into the film, improving upon the promise built by the trailers before it. It’s a quick cut of all the biggest action sequences in the film and will seal the deal for anyone who has doubts about watching ‘Rise of the Beasts’ in the theatres. While fans went gaga over the trailer, they were quick to address and praise one of the biggest icons of the ‘Transformers’ franchise. Peter Cullen is an 81-year-old artist who has eternalized Optimus Prime by voicing him for nearly 40 years. Die-hard fans of the movie know Cullen’s invaluable contributions to the franchise and couldn’t help but shower him with praiseworthy comments at the release of the final trailer.

Cullen is believed to use the mannerisms of his elder brother, Larry who served in the United States Marine Corps to build the voice of Optimus Prime and eventually perfected it over the years. Cullen supports NASA and calls the scene between Buzz Aldrin and Optimus Prime in ‘Dark of the Moon,’ the proudest moment of his life. Giving so much to the character over the years, the fans only grew to love him. And when the final trailer was released, the compliments were priceless.

'Peter Cullen to Transformers is like Stan Lee to Marvel'

One fan compared to the legendary Stan Lee in the YouTube comments and said, “Peter Cullen to Transformers is like Stan Lee to Marvel, he deserves to be in a featurette.” Another admired his ability to deliver in his old age. “Peter Cullen is in his 80s, but is still giving it his all as Optimus Prime! Absolute Legend!!!” A similar sentiment was echoed across as another fan stated, "Let's just all be thankful Peter Cullen is still well enough to lend his talent yet again. He's a living legend.” A fan had chills everyone Optimus Prime spoke. “Does anyone get chills when Optimus Prime speaks? Peter Cullen is still going strong in his 80s!” However, there was one who sealed the deal with, "Those one-liners by Peter Cullen are literally giving me goosebumps.” If it were left to fans, they’ll find a pill to keep Cullen alive forever to continue voicing Optimus Prime.

When will ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ release?

‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts' had its world premiere at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on May 27, 2023, and is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on June 9, 2023, by Paramount Pictures. The film was delayed from its initial release date of June 24, 2022.
