LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The Five’ co-host Katie Pavlich is a true dog lover.

The 35-year-old journalist frequently shares snaps of her dog with her fans and only recently, took to social media to share some more snaps of her dog Gadsden in honor of National Dog Day.

The Fox News anchor who had been busy covering the GOP debate, took a much-deserved breather as she shared a couple of snaps of her pet.

However, little did she know that her cute attempt to capture her dog Gadsden in a post-bathing snap would invite a barrage of photos from fans and followers of their respective dogs.

The result is a sequence of snaps of dogs from the fans who wanted to share the love with the Fox News anchor.

‘The Five’ Katie Pavlich celebrates National Dog Day

‘The Five’ co-host Katie Pavlich actively shares photos of her pet Gadsden so it was only expected that she would bring out the camera to capture her dog once again, especially on National Dog Day.

This time, Katie snapped her dog while getting a bath and then shared the adorable photos on her social media.

She posted two photos of Gadsden and captioned them, “It’s National Dog Day so here is Gadsden, sometimes mistaken for a (seal), getting a bath.#NationalDogDay (with a paw emoji)”

National Dog Day is celebrated in the United States every year on August 26 and was founded in 2004 by pet and family lifestyle expert, animal rescue advocate, conservationist, dog trainer and author, Colleen Paige. 

After Katie shared the snaps of her pet on social media, fans and followers of Gadsden were completely thrilled and decided to jump on the trend and share the photos of their pets on National Dog Day.

What followed was a series of photos of dogs that can only bring smiles to anyone on the Internet.

‘The Five’ co-host Katie Pavlich’s post about his dog did strike a chord with many who didn’t hesitate to share the best snaps of their pets on Katie’s post.

One user shared a photo of her golden retriever in a car and wrote back to Katie, “Hi Gadsden! (With paws and heart emoji)

Another user introduced his dog saying, “This is our rocko Koa’ while a third shared, “Here’s my 16-year-old Bailey! Happy Dog Day!!”

A user posted a photo of his dog lazing on the sofa, “Murphy Kaiser chillin” while a fifth sent some wishes to Gadsden, “Hi Gadsden! Happy National Dog Day from Jeremy in PA”

A user introduced her majestic dog, “Here’s our Duchess. She’s a rescue who is now 11 years old. We love her (hearts emoji)”
