GORDON, GEORGIA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' brought plenty of drama to the table. In the previous episode, June Shannon aka Mama June had an emotional family therapy session with her daughters, Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird, Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, and Jessica Shannon. June's daughters opened up about her absence in their lives, while Alana hugged her mother for the first time in '5 or 6 years'.

In the latest episode, Pumpkin, and Josh Efird got some alone time without their children around. However, the alone time didn't last long as June inevitably comes up in their conversation. Josh appeared to be very irritated when Pumpkin told him that June had phoned her and wanted to meet up at the park tomorrow.

Pumpkin wanted to take her children, especially Ella, along to the park to meet June. But Josh wasn't pleased. Pumpkin tried to convince Josh and explained, "She's been doing everything she's supposed to do." Although Josh isn't entirely convinced about June's turnaround, he said, "Pumpkin can say June’s doing better and doing this and doing that, but June has a track record for not doing the best at all times." He further added, "If it was my way, my kids don’t need a relationship with June. For Pumpkin, that’s a day at the park. What do you say?" However, Josh doesn't want to fight with Pumpkin, so he let her and June figure this out on their own. Pumpkin believed this time was different, and June is really making progress. Notably, Josh has been through this before as well, and he said to Pumpkin that every time June messes up, he is the one who has to 'continuously glue' things back together.

'We stand behind Josh!'

'Mama June: Family Crisis' viewers backed Josh as he tried to stop Pumpkin to let their children bond with grandmother June. A social media user tweeted, "Josh is right. One weekend means nothing. Especially since she seemed to only do it so they go to the wedding #MamaJune." Another viewer said, "June is just using the girls,.. again so she can get them there then adios again. Pumpkin just keeps falling her crap again and again. Then go on about how this is it with Mama. Kudos to Josh stay ur ground.." Another Twitter user noted, "Josh has every right to feel how he feels. He's always left to pick up the girls when June doesn't stick true to her word." Another person added, "We stand behind Josh!" Another user penned, "Pumpkin is seriously getting on my ever last nerve. She's worse than June tbh. All she does is push Josh away and get mad when he speaks pure facts about June when she swear she want do this and that just to go and do what she said she wouldn't. He deserves FAR BETTER." Another follower stated, "Josh ain’t wrong. #MamaJune can stay away from his house till they all fix their relationship."
