14-year-old boy fatally shot by cop who 'perceived a threat' after mistaking a toy for a handgun

The heartbroken family of a 14-year-old boy who was carrying an airsoft gun when he was shot dead by an Arizona police officer is now demanding answers from the police as to why they informed them of his death several hours after the incident.

On Tuesday, at around 2:30 pm, Antonio Gonzalez was allegedly spotted by officers burglarizing a vehicle near 48th Street and Baseline Road, Daily Mail reports.
