‘Falcon and Winter Soldier’ shocking LEAK: Will Spider-Man make a surprise cameo in the thrilling season finale?

'The Falcon And The Winter Soldier' (TFATWS) has managed to deliver a few surprises in its five episodes. From 'Madam Hydra' to the Wakandans, we've seen a lot to keep us hooked. And according to a Reddit user, we could be in store for one more major surprise. Read at your own risk!
The Redditor in question has claimed they were an extra on the New York City set of the show and has given us a pretty interesting leak. We must warn you that he himself can't be too sure of the accuracy, as he says "we took this scene many times, but I could never make out who it was." Nonetheless, he says he is "100% certain" that one beloved character is returning in the show.

If this person turns out to be true, it would be a very welcome cameo indeed. We'd love nothing more than to see this fan favorite, even for a few minutes return to our screens. Who are we referring to you ask? Well, since it is New York, it could be none other than our beloved Spider-Man.
Will Spidey return?
The Reddit user, who goes by the name salvatorevulcanoo on the platform claims to be an extra on the show. The individual even shared a screenshot of an email that confirmed their presence on the show in another post. According to the person, "I’m 100% certain it’s Spider-Man. It’s in New York, it’s definitely not Walker, Sam, or Bucky." The person posted on Reddit roughly 12 hours ago in the popular Marvel Studios Spoilers subreddit.
According to him, "A while back I was an extra for this show, for a New York scene (I was a civilian meant to act shocked when flagsmashers attack). I remember not knowing at the time what was going on, but thinking about it now I’m 100% sure. There was a black suv with a suited man racing inside of it, but flagsmashers block the vehicle and pull him out (I assume it’s the senator or some GRC member). It was at this point someone in a mocap suit jumps in and fights them."
He goes on to substantiate his guess by saying, "it would make sense since this takes place before FFH, and Spider-Man is not yet a fugitive. Also, the mocap suit is definitely the iron spider, which we know Pete used up until FFH. Plus, Spellman’s leak about the character having some rights issues makes complete sense." The person also says he never saw Sam, Bucky or Walker on set.
How accurate is this?
Now, before you get too excited, it's worth noting that the person isn't a reputed leaker, so we can't exactly take his word for granted. It may have been possible they were involved in only one scene. We do know a large part of the final episode takes place in NYC. So the claims that Walker, Sam or Bucky wasn't on set can't be taken as-is. It's likely they were, but just not in that particular scene.
But, there is a good possibility that Tom Holland could appear in a surprise cameo. Holland has been busy filming 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' since 2020 and the film did have some scenes in New York. In October 2020, the film was shot in several locations in NYC. At the same time though, TFATWS was being shot in Atlanta. It's unclear when filming in NYC took place for the show. There's a lot of gaps here, so we can't say for sure that the Redditor is right, but that doesn't mean he is wrong.
