If you love binging on Bollywood reality shows, ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ is just the perfect way to pass your time. Who wouldn't like to steal a glance into the glossy, glamourous lives of four wealthy Bollywood wives? And, oh, don't complain it mirrors ‘Real Housewives’ — that's what you signed up for!

In Episode 4 ‘Feelings and Fillers’, Neelam Kothari decides she needs a little bit of a lift on her face. “Everyone's saying don't do fillers,” she tells doctor Monica while Seema Khan clarifies she personally doesn't like fillers orks at the molecular and cellular level. Wondering what the treatment was? She went for Reiki, a Japanese form of alternative medicine called energy healing.

As the episode moves along, Neelam gets syringes in her cheeks. Just before the doctor is about to inject, Neelam goes into a panic mode and tells her to wait. However, she gets back on her feet soon enough. After the fillers, Neelam claims she is looking “ten years younger.” She says, “I'm kidding, okay five.” Meanwhile, Seema pokes fun at Bhavna's option to tighten her skin with energy healing. The next day, all four of them compliment Neelam's glow.

Straightforward and sassy as she is, Maheep Kapoor blatantly commented on both and said, “Neelam, I thought, was looking amazing, surprisingly.” But for Bhavna, she said, “Honestly, I could not see a difference. Why should I lie?”

Now, if you are wondering whether Neelam went for BOTOX or fillers, here's a comparison. As per Maasclinic, “Botox is a muscle relaxer, which means it can smooth wrinkles caused by overused facial muscles like frown lines, pursed lip wrinkles, crow’s feet or worry lines. It cannot restore volume to the face or lift sagging skin, though it can be combined with dermal fillers to fix some of these other concerns.”

It continues, “Depending on the extent of your facial aging, a facelift is often a better way to address everything at once. On its own, a facelift can eliminate wrinkles, sagging skin and loosened facial muscles. If your concerns extend beyond lines and wrinkles, a facelift is likely going to be a better fit for you.”

Meanwhile, according to Founder of The Calmery, Sushma Sagar, Reiki can be used as an aging antidote. Elle reports, “Models like Miranda Kerr have always been candid about their love for energy healing and now we're seeing a shift that's hit London's Harley Street. 72-year old veteran model Jan de Villeneuve (Kenzo) and Amber Anderson (Burberry) are part of this reiki shift - not just for healing, but for their beauty needs.”

Fans are taken aback by that episode, especially the scene where Neelam actually gets the injection. One sarcastic fan wrote, “This conversation is about a Facelift. Wow! This is some good TV,” and another mocked, “‘I am gonna call various energies from the quantum field for your facelift.’ Who are these people?”

Another fan on YouTube said, “It was all so glossy, plastic and so unreal 🙄 so much pressure they undergo to look perfect and do all sorts of botox or whatever. Nerve-wracking... Gauri looks so uninterested... 😂😂 Srk as usual came up with those filmy dialogues. The only person who seemed real was Samir. Oh and Maheep and her foul filthy mouth.”
