Victoria Park's Kamilla Hwang on 'The Flash' was a welcome addition in Season 5. From being introduced as a bartender at the Liquid Kitty, she goes on to become an integral part of Team Flash in Season 6. She's outspoken, smart and lovable at the same time, and what's more — she is a perfect love interest for Carlos Valdes' Cisco Ramon. Season 6 has had her play integral roles in the episodes, 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' and 'The Last Temptation of Barry Allen' Part 2.

In an exclusive with MEA WorldWide, the 'Plus One' star chats about landing the role, prepping for it and an insight into Hwang's persona. For starters, when she got the heads-up from her agent, she realized it was easy to be herself on the series as Hwang was a new character. "I remember, when my agent called me to tell that I had gotten it, it was for maybe three episodes (Season 5)". However, such was the character's importance in the series that Park had another season. Something that she is grateful for.

Prepping too was an experience. Park hadn't watched 'The Flash' before, but when she did, she admits to being a huge fan. "I just watched a couple of episodes kind of get a feeling for like what it was about because my character was coming in blind. Like she meets Cisco at a bar. She doesn't know who he is. She doesn't know he's seen The Flash or anything. So, I was able to just kind of prepare her based on not knowing any of that. And, it was really fun. I think they spend a lot on the character description and on myself".

Superhero shows come with their own share of pressures. Especially, a popular one that has established stars, and Park agrees: "I guess there can be a lot of pressure, especially with 'The Flash' being such a big show.

But honestly, everyone in the show was amazing, and it wasn't really a difficult transition," she opined. "Like if I ever had any practice, I'd be like always willing to help and everyone was really welcoming as well, and so that definitely helps."

Park's Hwang plays an aspiring photographer, and from her role on the series, it is clear that she was a team person. Twitterati welcomed the character with open arms and termed her as "a delightful character to have" in the show. "Honestly, I love Twitter," she exclaimed. "It's kind of my guilty pleasure and I'm always on it scrolling through everything. To hear that everyone in Twitter is really happy touched me and I'm really excited as well as Kamilla continues to grow and develop as the season continues."

Park also delved into Hwang's personality. "There are quite a few similarities in between," she explained. "We both share the same kind of sense of humor. I think she [Kamilla] is a bit more outspoken and she's a little more serious than I am personally, but that's also probably due to the fact that the Flash is in a 'Crisis'. So there's something light and funny at times. But there are a couple of things I like about her."

'Crisis on Infinite Earths' was imminent. The show teased the multiverse-shattering battle in the pilot season and Park termed the crossover as "epic".  And she agrees to the 'Crisis'  looked at as the Arrowverse's 'Endgame.'

"I like that and I think it's fairly accurate because 'Endgame' is like the ultimate Epic story for Marvel, and 'Crisis' is the same for the DC comics. It's a really big storyline from the original comics. So I think it's actually pretty incredible. I'm really excited to see what people think," she signed off.
