On Paramount Network's hit show, 'Yellowstone', the Dutton family lives a larger-than-life life on the Yellowstone ranch. The largest contiguous ranch in the United States is under constant threat from land developers and the patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner) continues to fight relentlessly to keep the land in the family. And in Season 3, the fight is only just starting.

In an exclusive interview with MEAWW (MEA WorldWide), Ian Bohen, who plays the role of Ryan sits down to tell us more about this larger-than-life lives that the Duttons live.

"Each of the characters is like a hurricane within themselves," Bohen begins. "The drama comes from the characters being ripped apart by themselves, from the inside. And then when you add the other hurricanes and a whole bunch of money and availability to do things, it becomes a catastrophic storm."

Most of the time, the Dutton family does not face any consequences or have to be accountable for their actions. But Ryan warns that this might change soon. "At the moment, there is no accountability for the decisions that they make, for really anybody on the show. The most outrageous things can occur and there hasn't been a price to pay truly yet. And so, therefore, they, they continue to storm cycle and at some point, there will be a reckoning."

That sounds like someone from the Dutton family might have to pay. We ask the actor if this is him foreshadowing a death. He denies it immediately. "I'm certainly not told who was going to live or die. I read the scripts [as] they come out. Generally, on a show like this, someone will pass away in the fourth season," he predicts, but also adds that, "There really hasn't been any indication yet. So you're going to have to wait and see."

The chaos on the ranch aside, Season 3 is packed with romance like never before. As Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) cement their relationship, the bunkhouse also sees new love. There is not only Jimmy Hurdstorm (Jefferson White) and Mia (Eden Brolin) but also Lloyd Pierce (Forrie J.Smith) and Laramie (Hassie Harrison). Add to that Jennifer Landon's Teeter's constant flirting with Colby (Denim Richards).

So how does Ryan feel about that? We see Ryan teasing Colby all the time with Teeter confident that it will work out between the two. "He's envious - he wants some attention. When he doesn't get it, he makes fun of things. He stirs the pot and prods other things and becomes a sort of an enabler for good or bad because he doesn't have a buckle bunny sitting on his lap."

Is Ryan going to find someone soon though? "He wouldn't say no."

With six episodes in, the show is only just setting the stage for the long run. If you recall Seasons 1 and 2, by now, the Duttons had come way closer to fighting their opponents. But in Season 3, creator Taylor Sheridan is focusing on the big catch. A chessboard is perhaps the best way to describe how the season is setting itself, Bohen comments. Using that analogy, he explains how the show. "There are three stages of chess. In the very beginning, things happen very quickly, the moves are very predictable and it's boom, boom, boom, boom, boom for the first couple of seasons," he begins.

"In the middle game, things slow down a bit. You take a little bit more time and you start to construct what you're going to do for the long term. This game lasts a while. And that's where we are now in 'Yellowstone'. You can watch your opponents, you're not fighting, but you're moving around and you're getting ready. And then [comes] end game where the mastery of all of your thoughts comes together and final brutal worker and you kill your opponent."

Sheridan, he says, has written the show in such a way that there will be a lot more seasons before the endgame does arrive. "Our creator has put together in his mind, all three series of games, beginning, middle, and end game to make sure that the show lasts till the end. And it has several, several seasons. You can't play a beginning game for seven seasons," he says. "This is a ride that we're taking you on and it sets up. It will allow you to, to have the conclusion that you ultimately want in a satisfying way."

'Yellowstone' airs on Sundays at 9 pm ET/ PT on Paramount Network.
