'Ex on the Beach': Fans think Shannon's crush on Marie's ex Devin is just a rebound since she clearly misses Anthony
Shannon Duffy clearly has guts of steel. The girl went and told Marie Roda’s ex Devin Walker that she has a crush on him that too right in front of Marie. As expected, Marie isn’t too happy about it and made that abundantly clear during the cut ceremony.
At the cut ceremony, when Shannon began to argue with Marie, Devin took Shannon’s side which made Marie “livid”. She stormed off angrily, threatening to leave the show. We thought she was hoping for Devin to run after her, hoping that he’d beg her to stay back, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. He instead stood there passing some snide comments.
Both Shannon and Devin have very poor past dating history, Shannon with her toxic relationship, and Devin with his immature behavior seem almost perfect for each other. But fans strongly feel that Shannon has no real feelings for Devin, and just wants to have a rebound after her ex Anthony leaving. We might have to agree with this one because Shannon kept repeatedly saying to anyone who’d care to listen that she was fed up of being single and wanted a partner. So, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that she’s just having a little fun with Devin considering that Devin and Marie are nowhere close to getting into a relationship, after the “relationship scale” fiasco.
A fan who strongly feels that Shannon is just fooling around tweeted, “Shannon sit your ass down & shut it you don't have feelings for Devin at all you are just using the feelings you have for Anthony to pass off as feelings for Devin like come on!! #ExOnTheBeach”. Another fan wrote, “Shannon doesn't have a crush on Devin sis is just tired of being single #ExOnTheBeach”.
Fans are also convinced that she’ll be right back in her toxic ex, Anthony M’s lap as soon as the show ends. A fan shared, “@Marie_TBD is a fucking Queen! Wtf is devin even doing?! Really? shannon?
