And now, it's time for him to take on something new and bring some cheer to our lives amid these dark and uncertain times. Everyone's favorite Ryan Reynolds is all set to enthrall us again, as he teams up with 'Paddington' director Paul King for a new film.
Reynolds is set to star in a big-screen adaptation of SNL writer Simon Rich's New Yorker short story 'Everyday Parenting Tips', reports Deadline. Considering its Reynolds, you can expect a hoot and a half of a film, and lots of humor. Here's all you need to know about the monstery comedy film.

Plot details
According to Deadline, Reynolds will play a normal dad dealing with the everyday challenges of raising his children and keeping them safe while keeping their fears at bay. However, there is a twist. He's raising his children while living through the ongoing Great Monster Uprising, which has unleashed monsters such as Gorgog the Annihilator and Ctharga the Eater of Souls into the world. Sounds unusual, doesn't it?

Ryan Reynolds
Reynolds began his career with the Canadian soap opera 'Hillside', and had minor roles before landing the lead role on the sitcom 'Two Guys and a Girl'. Since then, Reynolds starred in a wide range of films, including comedies such as National Lampoon's 'Van Wilder' (2002), 'Waiting... (2005), and 'The Proposal' (2009) with Sandra Bullock. Apart from these, he also starred in action films such as 'Blade: Trinity' (2004), 'Deadpool' (2016), and '6 Underground' (2019) and provided voice acting in the animated features like 'The Croods' and 'Turbo' (2013) and 'Pokemon: Detective Pikachu' (2019). He achieved glowing commercial success with 'Deadpool' and the sequel. Though there have been talks of 'Deadpool 3', the future of the film still hangs in the balance.
Creators
Rich will write the story, and Paul King will direct it. As per Deadline, Lord Miller’s Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Aditya Sood will produce along with Maximum Effort Productions’ Reynolds and George Dewey, and Rich.
