'Eternal Beauty': Meet Sally Hawkins, David Thewlis, Billie Piper and rest of the cast of Craig Roberts comedy film
Director and writer Craig Roberts is all set to make you laugh with his next emotional dark comedy titled, 'Eternal Beauty'. An inventive, comic, emotional romantic-drama, 'Eternal Beauty' features a stand-out BIFA-nominated performance from Academy Award Nominee and Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins. The film will hit screens on Friday, October 2, 2020.
The official synopsis of the film reads, "When Jane (Sally Hawkins) is dumped at the altar she has a breakdown and spirals into a chaotic world, where love (both real and imagined) and family relationships collide with both touching and humorous consequences."

Sally Hawkins
Sally Cecelia Hawkins plays the character of Jane, who is a Schizophrenia patient. Hawkins has one several awards, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and the Silver Bear for Best Actress for her role in 'Happy go lucky'. She has appeared in two Woody Allen films, titled, 'Cassandra's Dream' (2007) and 'Blue Jasmine' for which she received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She went on to play the lead character in 'Made in Dagenham' (2010), 'Paddington' (2014), 'Maudie' (2016) and 'Paddington 2' (2017). She has also appeared in 'Godzilla' (2014) and 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' (2019).
She made her Broadway debut in 2012 with 'Mrs. Warren's Profession.' On television, she performed in the BBC adaptations of 'Tipping The Velvet' (2002) as Zena Blake, and 'Fingersmith' (2005) as Sue Trinder.
Billie Piper
Billie Paul Piper will be playing the character of mean sister Nicola in the film. Piper first appeared on TV as a performer in 'Scratchy & Co' when she was just 13-years-old. When she was 15, she released her debut single, 'Because we want to'. She has also appeared as a series regular in the BBC sci-fi series 'Doctor Who' (2005–2006). Piper played the character of a high-flying escort Belle de Jour in the television drama series 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' (2007–2011). She has also appeared in 'Things to Do Before You're 30' (2004), 'Mansfield Park' (2007) and 'City of Tiny Lights' (2016).
David Thewlis
Born on March 20, 1963, Thewlis rose to fame with his character in the film 'Naked' (1993), for which he bagged Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor. His most commercially thriving roles to date have been of Remus Lupin in the 'Harry Potter' film series (2004–2011) and Sir Patrick Morgan / Ares in 'Wonder Woman' (2017). Other notable film appearances include 'Dragonheart' (1996), 'Seven Years in Tibet' (1997), 'Kingdom of Heaven' (2005), 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' (2008), 'War Horse' (2011), 'The Theory of Everything' (2014), 'Anomalisa' (2015) and 'I'm Thinking of Ending Things' (2020). He will also be appearing in 'Avatar 3' which will release in 2024.
