Erin Foster and Simon Tikhman tie the knot in Nashville on New Year's Eve after dating for over a year
It is truly a year of new beginnings for Erin Foster and Simon Tikhman. After more than a year of dating and engagement in August 2019, Foster, the 37-year-old television personality reportedly tied the knot with businessman Simon Tikhman on New Year's Eve in Nashville, Tennessee. The couple had started dating in the summer of 2018.
From social media posts and interviews, this wedding was expected anyway by Foster's fans and followers.
Back in August, Foster had taken to Instagram to share the good news of the engagement. "How on earth did I pull this off," she joked. She was dressed in all florals and looked like a marvel. Her older sister Sara had also shared the news on Instagram. "Ladies, I guess the moral of the story is stay crazy because apparently it gets you a ring," she had said.
Recently, on December 27, Foster had posted a selfie with Tikhman, on their way to Nashville. "On our way to Nashville to get married! Only one of us is embracing the theme so far," she captioned the photograph.
Complimenting Foster, a fan asked where the couple would be working out in Nashville, to which she replied, "I did not bring a single exercise pant or shoe.” Foster went on to say. “I ate tacos today and got drunk last night. I don’t know how to be a bride. Simon went on a wedding diet and lost 15 lbs. WTF.”
Sara Foster commented: "And the countdown begins to us having other things to talk about," she wrote.
And as fans sent their love and blessings from all around the world, Foster also received wishes from her celebrity friends Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The daughter of musician David Foster had celebrated her bachelorette party earlier this month in Aspen, Colorado.
In an earlier interview, Foster had opened up about having a New Year's Eve ceremony. "I think the timeframe is the most challenging thing. Having a wedding date during the holidays is really complicated,” she said, joking that “people with kids are like, ‘You should be ashamed of yourself for what you did to us'... You only get one chance… and you want it to be great for everybody else',” she added.
