Erick Adame nude leak: Cops hunt person responsible for releasing ex-NY1 weatherman's pics
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Authorities are currently trying to find out the person responsible for leaking the live-streamed porn images of former NY1 weatherman Erick Adame. Adame, who was once nominated for the Emmy's is currently out-of-work. The meteorologist said that he believes a mystery voyeur became obsessed with his naked images in an apparent effort to embarrass him.
“I concluded, it’s the same person that is just obsessed with posting these pictures of me,” he said in his first interview with WNYC since he was fired due to the scandal. “Some of them are so humiliating.” The 39-year-old claimed that he has hired a lawyer to track the IP address of the individual who posted the disturbing images online. Police are investigating the matter, the outlet reported, but it is unclear which department is looking into it.

The New Jersey native is based in Manhattan and some of his images were even sent to his mother who lives upstate. It is also not known what actions could the authorities take against it as the images may not qualify as “revenge porn”. A person must have a “reasonable expectation of privacy,” under New York law and live-streaming may not be protected.
Why was Erick Adame fired?
The former weatherman was fired from his job in September after images of him live-streaming sex acts were taken from an adult website without his permission. It soon came to light that during a camming session in December 2021, he mentioned his job and other personal details. Adame apologized and admitted that he had a “compulsion,” saying it was “absurd of me to think I could keep this private.”
Adame has been harassed online
Adame told the outlet that since he was fired, he has been continuously harassed by sadistic trolls online. “There is a mixture of support and then you’d have this random message calling me whatever name to degrade me and then saying you want some more? I can be your daddy,” he said. “You know —no. I just lost this job that I really loved. I’m being publicly humiliated and you think I enjoy this?”
Adame's reason for making sex videos for strangers on the internet
Adame opened up about why he decided to make live sex videos for strangers on the internet, admitting it originated from “low self-esteem”, from being rejected for being gay. “Showing off and getting that type of praise and being called sexy, I wanted to see more. Hearing that from someone on the other end made you feel so good,” he said. Now, he claims that he is in a stable relationship and that his sex life no longer involves the internet.
He said that he regrets his decision of camming. “I don’t apologize for being sex positive — but I apologize because I am a role model, ” he said. “What it comes to is, as a news person, I live under different rules. I don’t think that’s fair, but I think that we do.”
