Eric Trump and wife expecting baby number 2, will make Donald Trump grandpa for the 10th time
The 36-year-old mother shared the happy news on Twitter on Wednesday morning along with images of herself, Eric, their son Luke, and their two beloved dogs
Eric Trump and his wife Lara have announced that they are expecting their second child together, meaning President Donald Trump is set to become a grandfather for the eleventh time.
Just weeks after completing a difficult triathlon in Florida, 36-year-old Lara revealed on Twitter on Wednesday morning that she is five months along in her second pregnancy, according to a Daily Mail report.
Lara shared a series of heartwarming family photos alongside the news, showing the happy couple smiling with their one-year-old son Luke and their two dogs. "Baby number two coming this August!!" she announced, adding that Luke and the pups can't wait to welcome the new baby. "All of the boys are excited to become big brothers!!" she wrote.
The father, 35-year-old Eric, posted his own tweet in celebration, writing, "Lara and I are excited to announce that we will be adding another member to our family in August! Luke will be a great big brother!"
Following his wife's lead, the soon-to-be father-of-two also shared a few family photos along with the post. However, none of the photos gave any sign of a growing bump — and it was also not visible last month when Lara participated in the Los Olas Triathlon in Fort Lauderdale at four-months pregnant.
After the race, the expectant mother posted photos of herself with her friend Emily Aronson. She hadn't publicly shared the news of her pregnancy at the time, and instead showed off a very flat stomach while garbed in a wet-suit.
Back in February, the fitness freak also competed in the Fort Lauderdale Half Marathon with Aronson. Although she would have been around three-months pregnant at the time, it was not the first time the 36-year-old stayed committed to her fitness regime while expecting a baby.
Lara was seen working up a sweat in the gym even when she was almost nine months pregnant with her son Luke, back in August 2017. At the time, she was filmed doing lunges with a weighted medicine ball and step up sidekicks on a bench while being encouraged by celebrity trainer Michael Maloney in the background.
She also ran a half marathon in Palm Beach Florida just three months after giving birth to Luke in September 2017.
