The original synopsis reads, "Emily, who is saddled with student debt and locked out of the job market due to a minor criminal record, gets involved in a credit card scam that pulls her into the criminal underworld of Los Angeles, ultimately leading to deadly consequences."

The cast of the movie includes Aubrey Plaza as Emily Benetto, Theo Rossi as Youcef, Megalyn Echikunwoke as Liz, Gina Gershon as Alice, Jonathan Avigdori as Khalil, Bernardo Badillo as Javier, Brandon Sklenar as Brent.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Plaza has starred in many films and series. She played Robin Gibney in ESPN's 'Mayne Street' and Seth Rogen's love interest, Daisy, in 2009's 'Funny People'. She has also appeared in 'Scott Pilgrim vs the World', and Derrick Comedy's 'Mystery Team'. Plaza's film 'Life After Beth', which was written and directed by her now-husband Jeff Baena, premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. She also voiced the character Grumpy Cat in the Lifetime Network's original movie 'Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever'.
