NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a recent episode of her podcast 'High Low,' Emily Ratajkowski, a model made famous by her role in Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' music video, talked about feeling sexually objectified in the industry. While she admits to contributing to this narrative by sharing sexy photos on social media, she believes that her celebrity status has led to her body and image being used for profit without her consent.
Ratajkowski recounted several instances in which her image was exploited for financial gain without her consent, such as the leak of her photos in the 2014 iCloud hack and the sale of photo books without her consent. The iCloud hack, in which her personal photos were leaked, was "one of the most traumatic experiences of my life," she says. "I lost a patch of hair the week it happened," added Ratajkowski. To regain control, the model revealed that she's thinking about opening an OnlyFans account to show off her body on her own terms. She says that "extremely brutal things" have happened to her regarding the sexualization of her body, and hopes that starting an OnlyFans account will allow her to reclaim her power and benefit from her own image.

In her Daily Star column, Wood explained she received a direct message on Twitter from an unknown person who sent her a link to Ratajkowski's iCloud images. The sender apparently asked her to publish the nude images in their entirety in her column.
