Today's topic of discussion on Twitter is, the ice-maiden Elsa from 'Frozen'. Blessed with powers of ice, Elsa from 'Frozen' won hearts with her fiery and powerful personality, with many critics going as far as to say that 'Frozen' was feminist in its approach and had subverted the old Disney tropes of damsel-in-distress and fair maidens waiting for their princes with stars in the eyes. While this doesn't seem likely, as we had already met under-rated Disney ladies such as Tiana and Meg, this led to a long debate on whether Elsa was actually feminist or not.

Nevertheless, Elsa received a sort of a cult status, more so than her sister Anna. In 'Frozen 2', Elsa explored the depth of her powers and realized that she was the fifth element of nature and left her country and queenship in Arendelle. While the second film was not as widely praised as the first, it still encouraged the Elsa craze, as most fans continued to admire the strong-willed Disney female icon.

Well, Twitter has something else to say, today. Apart from mocking Elsa and calling her the 'worst', others say that Disney princesses like Tiana and Meg deserve to be noticed, perhaps more so than Elsa. "Elsa May be trending, but nobody can top these 2 queens!" a fan wrote, sharing pictures of Tiana and Meg.

Others feel that Anna deserves more of a role than Elsa, as let's face it, she has saved Elsa and the kingdom twice. "Okay #elsa is cool and all but y’all are sleeping on my girl anna. she saved the entire kingdom TWICE while elsa was off having an existential crisis. elsa only thinks for herself. plus, we all know that “for the first time in forever” is 10x better than “let it go," a fan tweeted.

"I know elsa is trending, but let’s not forget about this iconic queen," a fan wrote, sharing Meg's photo.

Another fan wrote that Mulan deserved all the love and Elsa was just 'basic'. "Everyone talkin about Elsa and the people who aren’t say “y’all done slept on Rapunzel” Please. Elsas a basic bitch and so is Rapunzel. They both been on my timeline for a YEAR. Ont eh other hand, I don’t see enough love for Mulan. She saved ALLL of China and y’all like Elsa. Go," tweeted a fan.

Some fans shared their outright hatred for Elsa.

"I hate elsa so much she has to be the worst disney princess ever. she got these cool powers she coulda been saving the world but she locked herself inna room for 13 years and almost killed her sister," a bitter fan wrote.

"Elsa is the worst," another tweeted.

Well, there's QUITE a war going on, as fans are bickering over which Disney princess deserves their day in the sun.
