Father shattered as 8-month-old son dies from injuries a week after car plowed into pram killing wife
An eight-month-old baby boy has died a week after a car plowed into him and his mother while she was pushing his pram. The mother had died on the scene a few minutes after the accident.
At 8 pm on Sunday, January 13, in Penge, south London, 23-year-old Nicole Newman was pushing her son Luciano's pram when they were both hit by an out-of-control vehicle, Daily Mail reports.
While Nicole died at the scene, her son battled for his life until a week later when he succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Furthermore, Luciano's father Charlie Bianco-Ashley, 25, was walking with them when the tragedy unfolded. He tried to save his wife and kid by leaping in front of the pram, but in vain. The young father has now lost his beloved child and childhood sweetheart in the accident.
