LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: One can appreciate an emotional journey while also patiently waiting for the juicer bits. Well, that has definitely been the case with Disney+ docuseries 'Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All'. While the first two parts dealt with love and loss, Part 3 focuses on music! Funnily enough, this part is also titled ‘Focus.’ We have learned a lot about Ed Sheeran so far, and that continues as 'Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All' unfolds the third chapter in the four-part series.

Ed Sheeran has often been in the tabloid, sometimes it’s for having a song with the highest number of streams, and other times it’s because of lawsuits. If you like your coffee with a side of celebrity gossip, then you probably already know about the singer's legal troubles, but in 'Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All' Part 3, Ed Sheeran addresses it!

Part 3 is for the music fans!

If you have made it through the first two parts of 'Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All' and are wondering when there will be a deeper focus on the musical part of his journey, then Part 3 is the one to watch. The docu-series has music throughout, but to actually see Sheeran sit down, write and record songs behind the scenes, that’s something any and every fan wants to see. One of the biggest highlights of 'Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All' Part 3 was to see Eminem and Sheeran share the stage. Much like Sheeran and Stormzy, this is also an unlikely pair.

Sheeran’s performance with Eminem is one of the best examples that showcase just how far Sheeran has come in his singing journey. From being a young boy in Ipswich, Suffolk to selling out Wembley and to performing with Eminem — it has been truly something amazing. There are so many dimensions to this singer-songwriter, but his music is ultimately the essence of who he is and that’s what 'Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All' Part 3 is focussed on.

The infamous lawsuits

Ed Sheeran found himself in a courtroom, and that’s something neither he nor his friends, family, or fans would have ever anticipated. The case against Sheeran involved a copyright issue, which is truly the biggest insult a singer-songwriter can face in his career. Sheeran doesn’t dive deep too much on the legal specifics of the case but he does talk about how they made him feel when he was first accused of plagiarizing someone else's music. Lucky for Sheeran, he had his team of lawyers and his loved ones by his side, who always believed that he could churn out brilliant lyrics in half an hour if he wanted to!

You can stream all four parts of 'Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All' on Disney+ from May 3, 2023.
