What is the plot of 'Dying For Fame'?
'Dying For Fame' has a plot that exudes relevance, albeit in a manner that will send shivers down your spine. The movie revolves around two protagonists: Anna the tabloid reporter always on the lookout for the next big scoop, and Juliet the influencer always seeking her next big viral moment. The two meet when Anna decides to do a profile of Juliet. But the more Anna digs into Julia's fame the more she finds that much of it is built on a lie...many of Juliet's fans simply don't exist. When Anna confronts Juliet with these facts Juliet reveals that she's being stalked. Thinking that Juliet's deflecting, Anna decides to run the fake fan story. But then Juliet turns up dead.

Amelie Anstett
LA-based Amelie plays Juliet in 'Dying For Fame'. A relative newcomer, this is Amelie's first major role in a movie, although she did a commendable job in Brat's TV series 'Chicken Girl' where she starred alongside Jules LeBlanc and Hayden Summerall. Amelie also starred (albeit in a smaller role) in 'Danger Lurking Under My Roof' aka 'Living Next To Danger'. You can see her next in the upcoming 'Off Rip' alongside Jadon Cal.
Dylan Raine
We were surprised to find that 'Dying For Fame' was Dylan's debut feature film, and we wish her all the very best. Dylan has previously starred in a number of shorts, most notably Claudia Sheng's 'Ilysm' in 2022. Dylan plays the intrepid Anna in 'Dying For Fame' and you can see her next in the movie 'Partisans'.
Is 'Dying For Fame' worth watching?
The plot is extremely topical and it would be interesting to see how far down the social media rabbit-hole director David Benullo and writer Suzanne Egan are willing to go. We'll be watching it.
