LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 31 is just a week away from the finale. The show dropped off two couples last week, and the same pattern followed for the semifinals. After round two's performance, we saw Shangela, Daniel Durant, and Trevor Donovan landing in the Bottom 3.

Trevor and Emma Slater were eliminated immediately, leaving the judges to decide between Shangela and Daniel. However, all the judges cast their vote in favor of Shangela, thereby making Daniel and Britt Stewart get eliminated. Watching none of the panelist votes in favor of deaf and mute actor Daniel, fans lashed out in anger and started claiming that Daniel deserved to be in the finale.

Daniel and Britt first jive was Viennese Waltz to 'Surprise Yourself' by Jack Garratt. Len Goodman claimed that the couple's dance was a little "skippy" and lacked "finesse" but it was a good mix of steps. After a mixed review, the couple managed to bag 35/40. Daniel and Britt performed Samba to 'Light It Up' by Major Lazer in their second round. It looked like the couple missed a few steps in between but they managed to turn the obstacles into an opportunity. Well, in the second round the couple managed to get only 34/40. The score landed them in the last second position on the judges' leaderboard. Seeing the same, fans slammed the show for being completely ableist to prevent Daniel and Britt from entering the finale.

A fan tweeted, "Daniel and Britt should have been in the finale, so disappointed." "Completely ableist to prevent Daniel Durant and @BrittBStewart from having a final chance to speak," wrote another disappointed fan. Another fan tweeted, "Very disappointed in the show not giving Daniel the chance to have his final words. Do better." A fan praised Daniel and Britt, saying, "So bummed to see Daniel & Britt go home. They worked so hard & are such an amazing team. I was captivated by them every single week. I feel like at this point it’s pretty obvious who is set up to win."
