Fans were eagerly looking forward to Disney Night performances as all the dances and the theme of the night were destined to be based on Disney compositions. Besides waiting for the energetic jives, the viewers were also eager to see who gets eliminated this week. 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 31 followed its fourth elimination with Sam Champion going home.

Sam and Trevor Donovan fell in the bottom two lists of the episode. And, with all panelists unanimously voting for Trevor made him safe for the night. While Sam and his partner Cheryl Burke got voted out with a total of 25/30 score. The couple jived to Paso Doble on 'The Greatest Showman'. Well, Sam's elimination was not shocking for 'DWTS' fans as he also landed at the bottom of the list last week and many already speculated that this week might be the end of Sam and Cheryl's journey. Moreover, many fans also placed their bets on Trevor's elimination on Disney Night. Seeing the same not happen, fans sensed a great sense of betrayal from panelists.

Sam and Cheryl's performance lacked excitement and the judges believed that Sam could have done much better with his posture. Carrie Ann claimed that even though Sam's performance improved from the last time but he still needs to work on his "shaping". On the other hand, Len Goodman commented that he was the "showman" for the night but needed "strong posture". 

Fans were not shocked seeing Sam go home. 'Good Morning America' anchor was struggling for his survival. Even though he tried his best to do better but other celebrities were seen doing much better than him. "That was rough Sam & Cheryl so I am not surprised he went home...", tweeted a fan. Another wrote, "Sam Champion is a showman but not The Greatest Showman with a solid Pasodoble! He needs to improve his posture!" Well, a few fans slammed judges for betraying Sam by eliminating him and saving Trevor. "I feel a great sense of betrayal from the judges saving Trevor and not Sam" tweeted a fan. 



 



 



 

Another fan tweeted, "Can't tell if Cheryl is on something or just having a bad day". A fan speculated, "@SamChampion was amazing! He was as good as Daniel Durant. Why didn't he get more points.? very strange voting system". Well, it seems that some of the fans were happy with Sam' performance and praised his comeback. "#DWTS31 Bravo @SamChampion What a comeback from last week! That was his greatest #dwts dance w/ @CherylBurke", tweeted a fan.
