'Duncanville' Episode 2 Preview: 'Red Head Redemption' pits Duncan and Kimberly against each other
The world of online gaming is a ruthless place, with no room for sentiment. Duncan Harris's (Amy Poehler) online video game tournament team kicks Duncan off the team. As if that wasn't bad enough, Duncan's spot on the team is taken up by none other than his own sister, Kimberly Harris (Riki Lindhome). Betrayed by his own family, Duncan immediately joins an opposing team to get revenge, but given that he was kicked off his first team, can he really expect to do well with a group of relative strangers?
In the meanwhile, Annie Harris (also Amy Poehler) has Jack Harris (Ty Burrell) get rid of his memorabilia cluttering up the garage. For someone whose head is as attached to nostalgia as Jack is, there can be no challenge more difficult. Jack may be good at a lot of things, but saying goodbye to the past certainly isn't one of them. Just how much stuff has he accumulated over the years and how far back does his collection go?
You can read the official synopsis for 'Red Head Redemption' here: "Duncan's friends replace him with Kimberly in their online video game tournament, so he joins the opposition to betray them and humiliate Kimberly; Annie tries to force Jack to throw out all his old memorabilia that is cluttering the garage."
We've only had a minor introduction to Kimberly in Episode 1, but Fox has released a video titled 'Meet Kimberly Played By Riki Lindhome' that fleshes her out a little bit more, as explained by Lindhome, who voices her. You can watch the video below:
Kimberly is definitely not going to take Duncan's opposition very well, and is, in all likelihood, going to crush him in the competition.
'Red Head Redemption' Episode 2 of Season 1 of Duncanville airs on February 23 on FOX at 8:30 PST.
