Meghan Markle is not a person you can be friends with, says TV pal: 'Her goal was becoming a household name'
Looks like the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is not someone that you can easily be friends with although she has reportedly always sought out fame. An insider has claimed that Meghan is not 'friend material'.
As reported by Vanity Fair, an insider shared that the image Meghan created for herself was free-spirited and earthy — but not entirely consistent with who she really was, according to those who know her. The source added that "Meghan's goal was always becoming a household name. She's insanely smart and poised, but very, very guarded. She's not a person you can actually be friends with. She's the type of person who is best friends with her stylist."
It has also been reported that once Meghan made it big in Hollywood, she threw a 'Sayonara Zara' party and gave away all of her cheap high street clothes as she upgraded her wardrobe. At the party, it is believed that Meghan gave her party guests all the old and inexpensive items in her closet so that she could make some room for her new things.
At the time, Meghan had got her best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney to help her upgrade her looks. After her big role as Rachel Zane in the TV show 'Suits', Meghan hit it big time.
In the season seven finale, Meghan's character married Mike Ross on the show. Just three weeks after the episode had aired, Meghan's real wedding to Prince Harry took place. Meghan even invited most of her cast mates to come for the wedding. The Duchess of Sussex even made it to the Vogue's list of best-dressed stars in 2018.
Both Meghan and Mulroney share a very close bond and friendship. As reported by DailyMail, a source shared, "Meghan adores Jessica, not just as a friend but also as someone whose taste and style are impeccable. Meghan looks up to Jessica and has, to a certain degree, modeled herself on her."
However, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was not on the list and according to reports, Meghan Markle made a very conscious effort to not dress like Kate. It has also been reported that Meghan is "frustrated" as the Palace keeps rejecting her ideas.
