Following the death of Drew Carey's ex-fiancee, Dr. Amie Harwick, details about her toxic relationship with ex-boyfriend and potential murder suspect Gareth Pursehouse have surfaced. Pursehouse, 41, was arrested on Saturday afternoon, hours after 38-year-old Harwick was found unresponsive under the third-story balcony of her Hollywood Hills home and later died of her injuries after being rushed to the hospital.

Pursehouse was booked at the Los Angeles County Jail on Sunday and is being held on a $2 million bail.

Although it is unclear as to when he began dating the murder victim, it is believed to be fairly recently. When their relationship went sideways, the sex therapist took out a restraining order against Pursehouse, which ended a couple of weeks before her death.

TMZ reported that Harwick had “recently expressed concerns about an ex-boyfriend" and was seen with Pursehouse days prior to her death.

The police initially responded to the report of a “woman screaming" early Saturday morning and Harwick’s roommate told responding officers that she was being assaulted inside the home.

According to KTLA, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement, "The investigation revealed possible evidence of a struggle in the upstairs as well as forced entry to the residence. A canvass of the area located further evidence of an intruder (suspect) entering the property and leaving after the murder.”

Surveillance footage of the neighborhood showed the suspect to be a “white man dressed in black." Pursehouse was described as 6’4″ tall and weighing 230 pounds by the booking records.

Pursehouse worked as a photographer and as a software engineer and developer, according to his Linkedin profile. He most recently worked as a lead architect at Internet Brands in the Los Angeles area. Not much is known about him.

If he was indeed behind Harwick's murder, he might be a cold-blooded killer. Because just hours after her death, he took to his Twitter account, @GarethFromAbove, and sent out an array of tweets, none of which expressed any guilt or remorse over what he had allegedly done.

He wrote a response to a comedian who posted he had received 400,000 views on his latest YouTube special in less than a week. “I’ve been special since I was five. no view," Pursehouse wrote.

After that, he sent out a second tweet, where he said: “You can’t get fit without that new gym clothing. But they won’t give you that gear until you’re fit. Soo … Tough t*tties bucko.”

From his tweets, it can be gleaned that Pursehouse was not a Trump fan. In one of his anti-POTUS tweets, he said: "I can’t figure out why gerrymandering isn’t a federal crime,” he wrote on Friday, and commented on Attorney General Bill Barr’s ABC interview about Trump’s tweets interfering with his job by saying, “Then why isn’t Barr prosecuting Trump for impeding justice?”
