Drake is reportedly financially supporting his baby mama and wants to take a paternity test
The feud between Pusha T and Drake took an unexpected turn when Pusha disclosed the information about Drake having an alleged child with a woman named Sophie Brussaux, a former French porn star. Drake and Sophia had been spotted together back in 2017 but they were in a relationship only for a brief period. However, as it turns out, Sophia had been documenting her pregnancy journey on her Instagram.
Even if Drake wanted to keep the pregnancy and the child a secret, Sophia did not. She had been posting pictures of her pregnancy journey on her Instagram and even had a baby shower. It shows how much Sophia had been invested in raising her child even if Drake wanted to keep it a secret. At the same time, Pusha claimed that the name of the baby is Adonis and as it turns out, it is true. Sophia posted a picture of a birthday cake in which the name 'Adonis' was written.
While Sophia might have been sharing every little detail about her life on her social media, one thing that was missing in the pictures was any mention of Drake. Back in 2017, TMZ broke the news which showed the text conversation between Drake and Sophia. The two seemed to have an argument on whether they should keep the child or not. While Drake allegedly wanted her to have an abortion, Sophia wanted to keep the child.
However, Drake's rep denied these rumors at that time. "This woman has a very questionable background. She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States. She's one of many women claiming he got them pregnant," they said at that time. "If it is, in fact, Drake's child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child."
As it turns out, Drake is reportedly indeed taking care of the child ever since he was born. The website further claims that Drake has been 'financially supporting his alleged baby mama through and after her pregnancy.' Sources close to the singer told the website that Drake has been ensuring that his baby mama and the child have been living a comfortable life and have everything that they need.
The sources added that Drake has been cutting cheques to make sure that Sophia has everything she may need and this has been going on even before she welcomed their alleged son. At the same time, Drake reportedly plans to have a paternity test taken in order to make sure that all the legal matters are taken care of while he thinks that there might be a slight chance that Adonis is indeed his child.
