Hilda had been confident about herself and had a loving job up until she started noticing cysts around her eyes. She revealed that seven years ago she started noticing the cysts coming around her eyes that would often cause her uneasiness when she tried to blink. While she hoped they would go eventually, her worst fears came alive when they started increasing and growing in size.

Since the cysts reached a point where Hilda felt the need to hide them, it came at a cost of her losing her job and the house. Luckily, she had her sister by her side who stood there like a support system. However, it was not enough to bring the confidence that Hilda once had. Opening up about the cysts, Hilda revealed that she had met four doctors and had undergone three surgeries. The surgeries focused on removing the fluid from her cysts, but that did not work for a long time. While the fourth doctor refused to perform surgery, Hilda revealed that a couple of months after the surgery the cysts would come back.

Fearing that she would have to hide her life away, Hilda finally took the decision of consulting Dr Sandra Lee. Hilda came with the hope that Dr Lee would be able to help her and give her an idea of what was going on. After having a look at Hilda's cysts, Dr Lee was quick to inform her that they were Hidrocystomas. Explaining more about the condition, Dr Lee revealed that these cysts were often filled with fluid and had the tendency of coming back even after being treated. While she warned Hilda that there might be a possibility of them coming back, she was hopeful that there were some skills up her sleeves that could help Hilda.

Without wasting much time on talking about what it was, Dr Lee decided to treat Hilda. She numbed the area where the cysts were and started to pop them. Dr Lee admitted that Hilda's case was unique because she had multiple cysts in one place. She wondered if it could be because of the surgeries she had. After popping all the cysts, Dr Lee removed the sack that increased the chances of the cysts from coming back. Once done, she showed the end result to Hilda. Hilda felt good about finally saying goodbye to her cysts and promised to be more confident and carefree while living her life.

The new season of Dr Pimple Popper airs on Thursday, September 3, at 10 pm ET on TLC.
