Dr Karin Cain: Mistress of suspected murderer James Craig goes into hiding after affair is revealed
MARBLE FALLS, TEXAS: Dr Karin Cain, identified as James Craig's mistress, has gone into hiding. James Craig is accused of poisoning his own wife, Angela. Cain did not go to her clinic on Thursday, March 23, for her practice and has not even responded to the comments from the media.
When Angela was struggling in the hospital with her life, Cain was traveling to Colorado to meet her love, and the duo even sexted during this period. Documents reveal that the wife’s smoothies were mixed with arsenic and cyanide to kill her off.

There is no official information about the same. However, Cain and Craig had an intimate connection that led to the killing of his wife. He was arrested hours after his spouse was declared brain dead and ultimately died on March 19. He was formally charged with first-degree murder. Residents gave their opinions regarding Cain. “If I were her, I’d be in hiding. It’s all anyone is talking about in town," said a resident.
Another said, “It will be interesting to see if she shows her face at any of the charity events now." “She’s the only one in town, so unless you want to take your kid an hour away, she will probably keep her business,” said another. Cain filed for divorce from her husband Jason in November 2022. They had previously both been partners in the dental practice. However, the duo started having arguments over finances in January 2022, which led to their split.
Was Karin Cain's name mentioned in the legal suit?
In Craig's legal document, her name has been mentioned twice. The first mention was on a picture of a SouthWest flight path from Austin. "It appeared that James had REDACTED visit him while his wife was ill in the hospital," Aurora Detective Bobbi Olson said in the affidavit. The other one was in a detailed mail exchange between them. Their messages “were intimate in nature and contained sexually explicit conversations,” investigators said in the document.
Karin has written in a mail to Craig, "Hi honey, I am so sorry for what has transpired this week in your world. I am sorry I am not part of your world to be of more help to you, and instead, I am pulling you away. This is so hard, I want to be and do whatever I can to support and encourage you, and I don’t want to add to what has become an incredibly difficult time. I can’t imagine what it is doing to you to walk your kids through this. I do want to give you any comfort I can, but I do not feel it is right for me to mix in with all those gatherings to mourn Angela either, and I do not want to meet your family as a friend and try to conceal what I feel for you. I am praying for you and seeking God's wisdom for this time." She signed off with the words "I love you."
