Vinny Guadagnino and Maria Elizondo have had a rollercoaster ride on the show, but it looks like the two are in a better place now. When Maria first came on the show, she was finding it hard to move past their social media banter after Season 1. However, things changed between them when Vinny finally decided to talk to Maria.

The two sorted things out and reached a point where they ended up hooking up. While they made it clear that there was nothing going on between them, the latest episode (September 3) painted a different picture. 'Jersey Shore's' Angelina Pivarnick came as a guest on the show. The cast members were on the edge about Angelina coming on the show because the last time she was there, things did not go smoothly. Vinny knew that with Angelina in the house, drama was bound to happen. Despite this, he decided to not interfere and let things be the way they were.

While everyone was having dinner, Angelina was interested in finding out if Maria and Vinny were officially dating. The pair made it clear that there is nothing between them and there is no nametag to their relationship as of now. However, as night progressed, it seems like things changed. Vinny admitted that he loved spending time with Maria as they both have the same mindset. At the same time, Vinny revealed that he had the freedom to be goofy around Maria. While he was planing on refraining himself from taking Maria on a date, his thoughts changed after talking to Angelina.

Angelina was quick to question Vinny if he had feelings for Maria. He admitted that there was a chemistry between them that made him feel comfortable. Hearing this, Angelina hinted that Vinny should go and ask Maria out. He admitted that it was time to give the relationship a try and he finally took the courage to ask Maria out.

While he had been serious, Maria thought Vinny was joking and it was a prank. However, when she understood that he was being serious, Maria accepted his invite and thought it would be good to find out where they stand. Speaking to the camera, Vinny stated that Maria and he had a good connection and once someone had that, physical chemistry follows. Even though the two agreed to go on a date, we sadly will have to wait for a week to find out how it went.

'Double Shot At Love' airs on Thursdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
