'Double Shot At Love': Pauly D receives a love letter from Nikki, will he accept it or distance himself?
Nikki Hall and Pauly D have been confusing fans with their chemistry on the show. The two nearly ended up together when Nikki first appeared on the show. However, Pauly decided to stay single which led the pair to have a fallout. Once Nikki returned for the second season of the show, sparks started flying for her again.
While she hesitated to get close to Pauly at first, things changed when she decided to put her emotions forward and let things take its course. Pauly felt good about Nikki keeping her awkwardness aside and finally opening up to the possibility of them becoming friends. Even though he had drawn a line between them to make sure it does not lead to a relationship, things changed when the two kissed.
Nikki decided it was time for her to accept her emotions and stop running away from them. This led her to push herself forward and kissing Pauly while he was performing his gig. From that point, it opened a flood gate of emotions for Nikki. The reality star started stitching the possibilities of them being in a relationship and did not hesitate to confess her feelings. However, Pauly had not been feeling the same way. He wanted both of them to remain friends and did not want to get into a relationship. While he failed to communicate that to Nikki, her emotions kept getting bigger and stronger. In the latest episode (August 6), Nikki decided to pour her heart out on a piece of paper.
She wrote a love letter for Pauly that had all her thoughts and feelings in it. Speaking to the camera, Nikki confessed that she likes to write whenever there is a lot going on in her mind. She finally gathered the courage to give it to Pauly. Reading that letter, Pauly was left speechless and admitted that he did not see it coming.
Speaking to Vinny Guadagnino, Pauly admitted that things were getting out of hand as he felt pressure from Nikki's end. Hinting that the letter was a mistake, he stated that the letter was like a mail that one should not send. Seeing how serious Nikki was getting, Pauly was forced to rethink where they stand in the relationship.
With everyone heading to Miami, Pauly understood he had to make their relationship clear but will this mean pushing Nikki away?
