'Double Shot At Love': Are Nikki and Pauly D officially dating? Cast wonder after he admits he loves her
Nikki Hall and Pauly D have been confusing people with their relationship status on the show and things became complicated in the latest episode (August 20). Nikki and Pauly were having a hard time giving a name to their relationship and after having a conversation in the previous episode, everyone was convinced that the two would not be naming their relationship.
Pauly had hinted that he wanted to take things slow and not get into anything serious. He reflected on their relationship and was quick to inform Nikki that he wanted to keep it casual. Unlike the other times, Nikki understood what Pauly was saying and decided to respect his decision. However, things changed after Pauly finished his gig in Miami. During his gig, Pauly dedicated a song to Nikki, who was cheering for him by standing on top of the table. The two often made eye-contact and she did not give up on a chance to cheer him by screaming his name. Maria Elizondo thought Nikki behaved like she was Pauly's proud wife.
As the gig came to an end, Pauly gave Nikki a goodbye hug. The hug soon turned into a kiss and everyone could see the chemistry between the two. While the cast members thought it would be just another goodbye for them, Pauly shocked Maria when he admitted to her that he loves Nikki. At first, Maria thought Pauly was joking. She decided to question him and she was met with the same reply. Pauly warned Maria not to open up about it to Nikki. However, since Nikki was right next to them, she heard it. Nikki admitted that she felt good knowing that Pauly loved her, but wondered how long it would last.
She recalled Pauly telling her about being fearful of jumping into a relationship. Keeping this in mind, Nikki thought it would be a good decision to let him have his own space and figure things out. Vinny Guadagnino also admitted that it would be the best thing to do.
Vinny advised Nikki to let Pauly have the space that would allow him to think things through. While Nikki understood what she had to do, the rest of the cast wondered where they stood in their relationship. Are they dating or are they still not naming it? Only time will answer this question.
