'Doubling Shot At Love': Nikki feels Pauly will bail on her before things get serious, is she right about him?
Nikki Hall and Pauly D's relationship has everyone confused. The two were close to getting in a relationship when Nikki appeared in the first season of the show, but things took a different turn when Pauly decided to end their relationship. Appearing on the second season again, Nikki was convinced that the mistakes from the first season will not take place again.
However, as time passed, the two got closer. Nikki started developing feelings for Pauly again and was convinced that she was falling in love with him all over again. Things became serious for her when Pauly kissed her back. Nikki took this sign as a hint that maybe there was room for them to get serious in the relationship. Unfortunately, Pauly was not on the same page. Pauly thought it would be good for them to take things slow. While talking to Vinny Guadagnino, Pauly admitted that he was uncertain how things would end with Nikki. Pauly feared that the tension in the house would increase once Nikki finds out that it is all just fun at the moment.
Vinny was quick to respond that it was time he drew a line between what he wanted and what was happening. Meanwhile, Nikki got similar advice from Maria Elizondo. Maria thought Nikki needed to know how to keep a distance from a man who was not expressing his feelings a lot.
While having this conversation, Nikki admitted that she feared Pauly would bail on her at the end. Luckily for her, Pauly wanted to talk to her about what had been happening. Pauly admitted that he was not in a place in their relationship where his end goal was to get married. Hinting that he wanted to take things slow and keep things casual between them, Pauly managed to upset Nikki.
Even though she agreed to Pauly's terms, she broke down crying once she reached her room. The girls were not happy to see Nikki crying and thought Pauly should have waited until they reached back home to break the news. With Nikki getting upset and Pauly thinking he did the right thing, will things get awkward between the two?
