"'Greatest President' is trending, so I think people are talking about President Barack Obama and our next President Joe Biden who has taken on A LOT in stepping into the role," one of the fans wrote.
"One of the many great photos I was lucky enough to take of the Greatest President at a 2012 fundraiser in LA Magical night," said an Obama fan who posted a monochrome image of the former President. Obama served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009- 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he was the first African-American president of the United States.
Following the murky events at the Capitol, his statement read: "History will rightly remember today's violence at the Capitol, incited by a sitting president who has continued to baselessly lie about the outcome of a lawful election, as a moment of great dishonor and shame for our nation. But weβd be kidding ourselves if we treated it as a total surprise."
Some didn't really pick a side, but had their opinions sorted. "He will go down in history as the worst president ever," read one of the tweets tagging Trump.
Trump supporters weren't far off. "You, Sir, are the greatest President ever. May you go in history as such. You are in my prayers and hope to see you again as our leader, America needs you, we love you," read one of the tweets.
"Dear Mr President Sir, you will always be our greatest President. We remain in prayers for you, your family, your team, and our true fellow Republicans. Psalms 91:14." read a comment. Although Joe Biden is all set to take charge as the 46th President of the United States, Trump supporters seem optimistic about their leader taking the reins. "President Trump was the Greatest President from 2017-2021 and will be the Greatest President once again from 2021-2025.
