Trump moans about water-saving toilets, says people are flushing 10-15 times as opposed to once: 'They end up using more water'
Just when you thought the US President Donald Trump couldn’t make a more absurd comment than his infamous energy-efficient light bulbs making him “look orange” one, he proved us all wrong and gave us some new material that only he could.
On Friday, December 6, Trump was heard discussing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He revealed that he asked the agency to look “very seriously at sinks and showers and other elements of bathrooms”.
This comes in light of the president’s belief that the water pressure coming out of the bathroom sinks in a lot of places in the country is “insufficient”. He went on complaining about how “people are flushing toilets ten times, fifteen times as opposed to once.”
He added how several bathroom fixtures have slowed water to trickling flow. “You can’t wash your hands practically, so little water comes out of the faucet, and the end result is you leave the faucet on and it takes you much longer to wash your hands, you end up using the same amount of water,” Trump said at the event with small-business owners at the White House on Friday.
Twitter went into a frenzy with funny memes and statuses over Trump’s comments about flushing, and assumed that he was talking about his own flushing habits.
“In other words, Donnie took a big mac/whopper dump (while tweeting) clogged the toilet and decided to rewrite the building code. Just a normal Friday,” a Twitter user wrote. Another tweet read, “Dude, you don't call the EPA for that, you call a plumber. Can someone please declare him unfit already? He's functioning at grammar school level, and not the higher grades.”.
“Trump thinking people have to flush their toilets 10 to 15 times confirms just how full of shit he really is,” another Twitter user said. “It's hilarious because Trump's entire admin is just like a shitty hotel review: 'No water pressure in the shower, toilet didn't flush, the lights were too bright and made me look bad,'" one user pointed out.
