Trump wanted to rip open shirt to reveal Superman Tee underneath, Internet says 'he's more like Super Spreader'
President Donald Trump had a "big plan" for his Walter Reed hospital exit on Monday, October 5, when he was getting released after testing positive for Covid-19 on Friday, October 2. The POTUS reportedly planned to wear a Superman T-Shirt beneath his button-down shirt, "which he would reveal as a symbol of strength when he ripped open the top layer."
On Saturday, October 10, The New York Times reported, "In several phone calls last weekend from the presidential suite at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Mr. Trump shared an idea he was considering: When he left the hospital, he wanted to appear frail at first when people saw him, according to people with knowledge of the conversations. But underneath his button-down dress shirt, he would wear a Superman T-shirt, which he would reveal as a symbol of strength when he ripped open the top layer."
As soon as the news came in limelight, people started slamming Trump on Twitter, as one Internet user wrote, "Trump isn’t Superman, he’s a Super Spreader." Legal Analyst Renato Mariotti wrote, "You have to read this to believe it. Trump was planning to appear frail and then rip over his dress shirt to reveal a Superman tee-shirt when he left the hospital, according to the @nytimes. Whenever I think Trump can’t do something more ridiculous, he proves me wrong."

Replying to a tweet about Trump's "superman" wish and wrote, "I've read it and what I cannot believe is that this lunatic ever got to be president and somehow still is. The whole Superman fictional plot makes more sense than this twisted reality we are living in. Anyway, 24 days. VOTE." While another one speculated, "So, you know how we were told repeatedly how hard trump was working while he was at Walter Reed? Personally, I’d bet a million bucks that the majority of his time was spent arranging the optics and logistics to have his vanity parade, his video he filmed after he arrived back +"

Some found the idea is reminiscent to Gene Wilder’s entrance as 'Willy Wonka' in the 1971 film, in which he hobbles out with a cane, only to somersault his way to the chocolate factory's gate, spry as can be, as one made fun of Trump and posted a meme and wrote, "His Willy Wonka stunt would’ve looked like this." While another one wrote, "Y'all know the only reason he didn't do this Willy Wonka s**t was that his tiny hands couldn't rip the buttons lol."

And some went to another extent to mock Trump, as one Internet user shared a made-up phone conversation: "<Ring> Party City, how can I help you? I need to order a Superman costume. What's the yugest you got? The guy it's for says he weighs 225 but he's more like 330 We have XXL Nah, too small. It's OK, this Willy Wonka stunt is a dumb idea Jared, who you talking to? <Click>" And one alleged "chocolate lover" wrote, "Ok but what if they actually built willy wonka’s chocolate factory and had tours and shit ooOoOOoo thatd be dope good job mikayla"
