NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Recent polls indicate President Joe Biden trailing significantly behind former President Donald Trump in key battleground states.

An Emerson College poll conducted earlier this month revealed that Trump held a nine-point lead over Biden in Pennsylvania. Similarly, in Michigan, a poll commissioned by a local consulting firm this month shows the ex-POTUS to have a seven-point advantage over Biden.

Following this event, radio host and civil rights attorney Leo Terrell took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news. However, the Internet didn’t respond positively to his post and brutally slammed the ex-POTUS.

Leo Terrell took to X (formerly X) and wrote, "New Polls Show Trump Beating Biden in Key Battleground States." 

The attorney's post featured an article from his official website that mentioned the popularity of Trump in states like Pennsylvania and Michigan. 

According to The Washington Free Beacon reports, "New polling shows President Joe Biden losing to former president Donald Trump in swing states." 

As per the RealClearPolitics (RCP), Trump currently leads with 1.8 points to the current POTUS in the average of Pennsylvania polls. 

This comes as part of a larger trend where Trump has led in six polls, while Biden has been ahead in five, with one resulting in a tie since polling for the 2024 election in the Keystone State began.

While the Emerson poll conducted between August 9 and October 4, showing Trump with a nine-point lead, may be considered an outlier, other polls have depicted Trump leading by margins ranging from two to six points. Notably, Biden has also held leads of similar magnitudes in various polls.

Internet slams Donald Trump over poll results from key battleground states

After Leo Terrell shared the report on Donald Trump having the probability of winning against Joe Biden in key battleground states, the Internet was quick to slam the ex-POTUS.

One quipped, "Local polls show Trump losing in Federal Court, and in Georgia and New York. Read 'em and weep," while another expressed, "Hopefully he’ll be off the ballots in so many states he won’t be able to win!"

A person asserted, "Trump will LOSE in 2024," and a user added, "Please don't re-elect him. He will ruin your country. He has already divided you." 

"He already beat him handily in 2020…corrupt elections. Can win anything until our broken system is fixed," said one more.
