Caroline, a film personality, has been known to support the Democratic Party even though her father is President Trump's personal lawyer

Her father might be the personal attorney of President Donald Trump but that hasn’t stopped Caroline Rose Giuliani from expressing her support for Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris. On August 11, the 31-year-old posted a picture of herself with the California senator on Twitter to encourage her followers to bring a change in the White House.

In her first tweet in which she posted the picture, Caroline said it was an excellent day for a repost. She used a ‘bleeding blue heart’ emoji to signify her support for the Democratic Party and hashtags #bidenharris2020 and #removetrump in her tweet.

In another tweet made in response to the first which gained traction, she said: "While there's some momentum here, a reminder to please donate to help start turning this s**t around!! It's a matter of life or (many) death(s) at this point." In that, she posted a link to donate in favor of the duo.

Caroline, who is a Harvard-educated film personality and writer and calls herself a "liberal" in her Twitter account, has a little over 13k followers on the social media platform. Her 76-year-old father Rudy Giuliani is a Republican and has allegedly been involved in Trump’s Ukraine affairs that have targeted presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter. Caroline’s track record as a political supporter has shown that she has always been on the Democrats’ side.

Caroline supported Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton too

According to a report in Politico, she was with former secretary of state Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election. She even wrote on her Facebook page that she has been pro-Hillary all along. She used the Hillary campaign’s ‘H’ logo as her profile picture and posted the #ImWithHer campaign slogan banner as her page’s wallpaper. She even said that she loved Hillary and considered her "by far the most qualified candidate" that the US has had in a long time. Caroline also told the media outlet that she was in support of Barack Obama in the 2012 election and his father is fully aware of his political inclination and respects her right to self-opinion. She did not comment on her father’s support for the controversial president.

Even during the 2008 election in which Rudy briefly ran, Caroline was suspected to be an Obama supporter as she liked a Facebook page dedicated to the former president until her membership was discovered. A woman acting as the then-teenager's spokeswoman said her interest in Obama, who won that year, did not indicate those were her actual political leanings. "It was not intended as an indication of support in a presidential campaign and she has removed it. Caroline is not commenting on the 2008 election," Joannie C Danielides told ABC News in August 2007.

Carolina and her brother Andrew are from Rudy’s second marriage to Donna Hanover with whom he got separated in 2002. Unlike Caroline, Andrew has been aligned with his father’s politics, working for the Trump administration. Last month, he was seen accompanying the president to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. In the past, Andrew appreciated the upbringing of himself and his sister saying their parents always encouraged them to have their own worldviews.

Families of other Trump aides aren't POTUS' fans either

Caroline is not the only family member of a prominent Trump ally to support the Biden-Harris duo. George Conway, the husband of Kellyanne Conway, the counselor to the president, started criticizing the incumbent just months after he got into office in January 2017. A former supporter of the president, George is now a ‘Never Trumper’ who has co-founded the Lincoln Project which has come up with some of the most highly critical ads about the current administration. Even the Conways’ eldest daughter Claudia has expressed her support for firebrand Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, another sharp Trump critic.

Even the family of Trump’s senior adviser Stephen Miller recently expressed disappointment over his support for the president’s anti-immigrant stances despite himself being a descendent of Jewish immigrants from Belarus.
