Donald Trump mocked for 'President Obama' gaffe, but his fans bizarrely say he's right
CLAREMONT, NEW HAMPSHIRE: At a highly charged campaign rally in Claremont on November 11, Donald Trump took aim at President Joe Biden's recent stumble during a Veterans Day service, mocking him for being "confused" and suggesting he "walks into walls."
However, the former President himself faced a moment of confusion, mistakenly referring to Barack Obama as the current President instead of Biden.
Donald Trump's criticism of Joe Biden
At the rally attended by a packed crowd, Trump didn't hold back in his criticism of Biden, stating, "We have a guy in the White House who can't put two sentences together and who could not find his way off this stage." He went on to poke fun at Biden's public appearances, constantly referring to him as "crooked."
"He would be confused because I think my audience behind me is bigger than my audience in front of me," he told the audience. "He'd be saying what do I do, where am I? What is this strange speaking venue I'm in the middle of a room."
"You ever see the end of his speech? He has no clue how to get off. You got stairs there, jump off the front, do anything just don't walk into a wall," Trump continued. "He walks into walls. But this is the guy we have negotiating with Putin and President Xi of China. This is who we have in charge of nuclear."
The comments came in the wake of Biden's stumble at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where he needed stage directions from an Arlington Honor Guard. This incident followed earlier instances where Biden appeared disoriented, including getting lost after a speech at the Global Fund Conference and stumbling into a pole during a UN event.
Donald Trump's own moment of confusion
Despite Trump's criticisms, he faced his own moment of confusion when he erroneously stated, "The head of Hungary Viktor Orban, very powerful within his country and outside of his country, they were interviewing him two weeks ago and said what would advise President Obama? The whole world seems to be exploding and imploding. He said 'It's very simple, he should immediately resign and replace him with President Trump who kept the world safe.'"
Trump once again mixed up Biden and Obama.

The mistake drew attention as Trump appeared to mix up the current and former presidents while patting himself on the back.
Trump continued his rally by expressing confidence in winning the New Hampshire primary for a third consecutive time, asserting, "We're going to crush crooked Joe Biden. He's a crooked man. Next November, and we're going to make America great again."
Social media reactions
While critics expressed concern over Trump's confusion regarding Obama and Biden, his supporters rushed to his defense on social media.
"If you don’t realize by now that Obama is really running a third term there is no hope," one posted on X.
"Obama controls Biden! Everyone knows that," another wrote.
"Hard to tell them apart. They both criminals and both sold out the country and are actively trying to ruin it," someone else quipped.
"Trump is good," another chimed in.

Trolling Ron DeSantis
Trump did not stop there, obviously. He took the opportunity to boast about his endorsements and took a swipe at his Republican rival Ron DeSantis. He claimed widespread support in New Hampshire and boasted about donors changing their stance to support him.
"We've had a lot of endorsements in New Hampshire, almost everyone is endorsing us," he said. "Now they're coming and the money is flowing and all those funders said maybe we'll endorse somebody else with our money."
"All of a sudden they're calling and saying 'President, President hi.' I said, 'I thought you were going to be DeSanctimonious,' they say 'no way sir, I'll give you whatever you want,'" Trump quipped
