Mitt Romney blasts Trump, says he has failed to conduct himself with honesty and integrity
Utah Senator-elect Mitt Romney also praised President Donald Trump for spearheading tax cuts, ending excessive regulations and appointing conservative judges
President Donald Trump was slammed once again in a blistering op-ed this week by Utah Senator-elect Mitt Romney who said that "the president has not risen to the mantle of the office." The seasoned Republican, 71, who lost the 2012 presidential race as the GOP nominee, criticized the commander-in-chief's first two years in office.
In an op-ed piece for the Washington Post published Tuesday, Romney wrote: "It is well known that Donald Trump was not my choice for the Republican presidential nomination. After he became the nominee, I hoped his campaign would refrain from resentment and name-calling. It did not."
