Donald Trump Jr mocks Joe Biden's ankle fracture with meme, Internet says president-elect ‘needs a life alert’
It's been a couple of days since news of President-elect Joe Biden fracturing his ankle while playing with his dog hit the media but the memes have not ceased to flow. On Monday, it was Donald Trump Jr.'s turn to attack the Democratic opponent of his dad on Instagram as he insinuated through a meme that the former vice president's injury might have been caused by a conspiracy hatched by VP-elect Kamala Harris as she allegedly tries to become POTUS by creating a backdoor.
The president's eldest son shared a meme on his Instagram account showing a mischievous-looking man rubbing his hands together as he emerges from behind a tree with the words "Kamala Harris when she heard Biden slipped and fractured his ankle," written on the top. He captioned the meme: "Most accurate meme of 2020 #Repost @americanaf She can’t wait to step in."
Soon enough, the comment section was filled with an array of Trump supporters reacting to the meme. "Your dad should not stop fighting, there is no way a senile man like Joe Biden can get 80,000,000 votes," one wrote, while another said, "TRUMP WON IN A LANDSLIDE!" A third commented, "Biden needs a life alert." Somebody wrote, "Next will be the hip." Another remarked, "She is the one who put the banana peel down for him."
One more wrote, "I always wonder if those silly boots are just to hide the ankle monitors." Somebody else commented, "I’m sure it was right after she pushed him over @donaldjtrumpjr." One more said, "If that doesn’t work out, she’s still holding onto her side piece, the Senate seat." Another reacted, saying, "One slip for Biden, one Giant leap for Kamala."
We previously reported that Biden had a suffered hairline fracture in his "mid-foot" and will require the help of a “walking boot for several weeks”, his doctor informed on Sunday, November 29. Biden had slipped while playing with his dog Major.
Dr. Kevin O'Connor, said, “Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging. Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden's lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot. It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks.” As reported by CNN, his office said, earlier, he was going to be examined by an orthopedist “out of an abundance of caution” after he twisted his ankle while playing with the dog.
Meanwhile, on Monday POTUS quote-tweeted NBC News’ White House Correspondent Kelly O'Donnell’s tweet: “NEW: @nbcnews photographer captures @JoeBiden leaving orthopedic office in Delaware where the president-elect was just treated for what his doctor called a sprained right ankle from a fall Saturday.” And wrote: “Get well soon!”
Trump has still not conceded. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Friday, November 27, rejected Trump’s latest effort to challenge the election results by blocking President-elect Biden from being declared the winner in Pennsylvania. Trump’s legal team appealed to the Supreme Court despite the judges’ saying that his “campaign’s claims have no merit."
