Donald Trump Jr compares Biden to Lion King’s Scar who 'cheated to win the title of king' in farewell message

Trump Jr was furthering the narrative, believed by many Trump supporters, that the election was 'rigged' in Biden's favor

Donald Trump Jr did not hold back while his father was leaving the White House and posted a bitter farewell message for President Joe Biden. The 43-year-old compared the Democrat to Scar, the villain in Disney's ‘Lion King’. “Remember in the Lion King when Scar cheated to win the title as king? And the pride land was overrun by the hyenas? And all of the lions lost everything they had built and maintained?” Trump’s eldest son shared on his Instagram story on Tuesday night, January 19.

The movie showed the envious Scar murdering his brother King Mufasa to take over the Pride Lands. Though he didn't explicitly state it, Trump Jr tried to paint Biden in a similarly villainous light, as many Donald Trump supporters believe the 46th president won the 2020 presidential election because of voter fraud. Although they have repeated it many times, the Trump camp has not been able to prove it in court.

On Wednesday morning, January 20, Trump Jr reportedly deleted the post but shared two other stories. One was a photo of his father holding a thumbs up, with a message that read, “GOD BLESS PRESIDENT TRUMP”. Another post had an image of Barack Obama and Trump Sr along with a fake headline that stated, “Trump Criticized for Loudly Denouncing Incoming Administration And Not Just Spying On Them Like A Normal President.”

Besides, Trump Jr also shared a photo of his 78-year-old father on his Instagram feed The picture showed the Republican leader hugging the flag of America with a caption, “Thanks dad! America owes you a debt of gratitude.”

A number of the former president’s supporters also showed their love and gratitude for him in the comment section, with one saying, “The best President in ALL our lifetimes. Thank you Mr. President.” Another wrote, “Greatest President Ever!!!” “Forever grateful! Thank you for working so tirelessly for the American people. We love you!! The best is yet to come!” the third user added.

Like her elder brother, Ivanka Trump also expressed her thoughts on her Twitter account, posting a lengthy message on her father's last day in office. “It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve our nation as an Advisor to the President. I am so proud of what we have accomplished and excited for the future. I came to Washington to fight for American families and I leave feeling I've done that,” she wrote, adding, “I hope and believe that America can move forward in a positive way, acknowledge our differences and find common ground - that is how we will remain the greatest nation.”

People on Twitter reacted to her statement, with a user writing, “Thank you ma’am!!! We love you and your family!!! The best president in my lifetime. Mr President you make me proud to be an American. I’m sorry sir that the election was stolen from you. We ALL KNOW it was fraud. Shame on those people! God bless you always sir. Job well done!” The second person tweeted, “Thanks for everything beautiful Ivanka.  If your father decides not to run for president in 2024, it would be a pleasure if you were the candidate of the Republican party.” “Thank you all for your hard working, sacrificing, and the love that you and your administration, especially our Greatest-Ever-President, Donald J Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have brought to his country and people. Never do we forget how proud is a nation under his wings,” another one added.
