Donald Trump Jr attacked Hunter Biden and called him “Crackhead Hunter” during his appearance on the ‘Glenn Beck Radio Program’ on Tuesday, September 29. "Hunter Biden now has a tie - a direct tie to Vladimir Putin and Russia. And you don't think they would use that over Crackhead Hunter? Like, you don't think that we need leverage over Joe Biden later on in life? Same with China,” Trump Jr told Beck.

He added: “No-one's ever heard of Hunter Biden. He's never been an investor, he's never done any of those things. The Chinese government just gave him a billion dollars because, you know, they thought he was gonna be really good. Come on, man. It's insane."

Trump Jr’s comment regarding Hunter and Russia appeared to be hinting towards Donald Trump’s claim that the 50-year-old received an amount of $3.5 million from a dead Moscow mayor’s wife. While the China comment was reportedly a reference to speculation that Hunter had a $1 billion or $1.5 billion investment deal with Bank of China.

The clip of the program where Trump Jr made comments about Hunter was shared on Twitter by a journalist, Andrew Kaczynski. Sharing the video, Kaczynski wrote: “Here is the clip of Donald Trump Jr. calling Hunter Biden ‘crackhead Hunter’.”

The clip has been seen over 200,000 times on Twitter with more than 600 retweets. People seemed not happy with Trump Jr’s remarks as one wrote, “Aside from being mean, @DonaldJTrumpJr is completely lacking in self-awareness. That apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” Another commented, “@realdonatrumpjr has had substance abuse issues since he was young. Having such a dysfunctional family with a genetic predisposition to substance abuse will be difficult for him in prison.”

The third user added: “@DonaldJTrumpJr is disgustingly vile sooooo can anyone expect more than this? The whole family is so incapable of using synonyms or expanding their vernacular that they retort to the same unrefined insults.”

The 42-year-old’s recent comments came after his father Donald Trump brought up Hunter’s drug issue at the first presidential election that took place at Cleveland's Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. During the September 29 debate, Joe mentioned his other son, Beau Biden, who died of a brain tumor in 2015 and said: “My son was in Iraq, he spent a year there. He got the Bronze Star, he got the Conspicuous Service Medal. He was not a loser. He was a patriot, and the people left behind there were heroes."

But Trump interrupted him, stating, “Are you talking about Hunter?" Biden replied: “I'm talking about my son, Beau Biden." To which the Republican leader said: “I don't know Beau, I know Hunter." He also added that Hunter was given an administrative discharge from the military six years ago and "made a fortune" in Ukraine and Russia, the evidence of which is not available. The Democratic nominee then disproved all his claims before acknowledging Hunter’s drug issues. He said, “My son, like a lot of people, like a lot of people you know at home, had a drug problem. He's overtaken it. He's fixed it. He's worked on it, and I'm proud of him."
