Donald Trump gets lambasted after Fox News' Sean Hannity shares clip of ex-POTUS calling his civil fraud trial a waste of time
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: According to BBC News, “Donald Trump attended a New York court where he faces a civil lawsuit and a fine of $250M (£204m) for alleged fraud committed through the Trump Organization.”
It was also reported that he “spoke outside the courtroom where he denied the allegations and called the lawsuit a politically motivated witch hunt.”
Amongst other Fox News anchors, Sean Hannity specifically reported on the former President’s update to the reporters after opening statements at the court.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity shared a quote from Donald Trump which he said after the opening statements.
Hannity wrote, “TRUMP: “We’re wasting our time with this trial…they ought to look for the murderers and the killers that are all over New York.”

Attached to this, was an article on Hannity’s official website, titled, “HOLDING COURT: Trump Updates Reporters Outside Courtroom After Opening Statements.”
Hannity also added a video of Trump outside the court, and wrote, “Donald Trump offered a brief update after opening statements in his fraud case in New York City on Monday. He said, “They weren’t defrauded —I’ve been defrauded!”
This article on Hannity’s staff consisted of a brief interaction between Trump and the reporters who waited outside the court, however, the internet flooded Hannity’s post on X as they slammed the former President.
Donald Trump faces backlash following Sean Hannity’s report
After Sean Hannity’s latest report on Donald Trump, the former president faced ridicule and backlash on X as one person wrote, “Hahahahahahaha what an idiot,” and another said, “WRONG #CriminalTrump.”
One user on the social media platform said, “And his MANY trials have only just begun!!! What a cry baby!”
Some even mocked Trump with a “translation” of his words quoted by Hannity, “Translation: I should be allowed to commit crimes. Don’t look here.”
