NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday, October 4 that his presidential campaign has raked in a whopping $45.5 million during the third quarter of 2023 fundraising.

It appears Trump seems to be solidifying his strong position as the leading candidate for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination even further, thanks to another substantial fundraising achievement in the latest quarter.

Following this event, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to update more on Trump’s campaign fundraising and what his team had to say about this.

However, the internet didn’t respond well to Hannity’s tweet on Trump’s achievement and called out ex-POTUS claiming he’s “screwing” his supporters.

Sean Hannity share Donald Trump’s campaign hauling $45.5 million in Q3

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “[A]n impressive testament to the overwhelming grassroots support behind President Trump that will lead to dominating victories..."

In his tweet, he featured an article from his official ‘Hannity’ website titled, “'HAULY' CRAP! Trump Campaign's Third-Quarter Fundraising Haul More Than $45M.”

In the article, it was stated that Donald Trump’s campaign has nearly doubled his haul from the first quarter of the year and reportedly raked in $45.5 million during the July-September quarter.

According to The Daily Caller, “Team Trump has raked in $45.5 million dollars amid the barrage of legal troubles, indictments, and trials the former POTUS is forced to face.”

Trump’s campaign said, “In an impressive testament to the overwhelming grassroots support behind President Trump that will lead to dominating victories, close to $36 million of the total cash on hand is designated for the primary.”

They further added, “The Q3 numbers are even more impressive considering the Summer months are usually when most campaigns experience lagging fundraising support. President Trump and his campaign have completely shattered that notion.”

Internet accuses Donald Trump of being 'dishonest' 

Soon after Fox News anchor Sean Hannity reported on the GOP 2024 frontrunner’s campaign hauling in the third quarter, the internet quickly took a brutal jab at ex-POTUS.

One person wrote, “And he will steal that money to pay the fines to the state of New York.”

Another Twitter user said, “Trump is a dishonest, corrupt, sociopathic, malignant narcissistic crime boss out to commit treason. He's a malignant cancer on democracy. You are a fvcking fool for supporting him.”

One more added calling out Trump, “Lunatics giving hard earned money to pay for his criminal defense. Will the put that money on his prison commissary books?  Keep him stocked with Twinkies and honey buns?”

A person simply slammed ex-POTUS saying, “He’s using the money for his legal expenses. It’s MAGA money. Means nothing,” and another added, “$45m more for his “world class” lawyers. Fools and their money.”

“The very sad thing is all those people supporting Trump that do realize how much they are being screwed,” said another.
