President Donald Trump appeared on Fox & Friends on Tuesday, October 3 morning, addressing viewers in what seemed like the final push before Americans go to the polls on Election Day. During his appearance he referred to "China Plague" twice and said, it's "time to get the children back to work" and immediately corrected to say, "children back in school". During the interview, Trump talked about the Covid-19 pandemic and shared Barron Trump's Covid-19 story and said, "I tell the story about Barron Trump, he had it for about two seconds. You know it just went through him and just it's gone and the immune system on children – that's why you got to get the children back to work... Children back to school."

As soon as his comments came in light, people started reacting to it, as one Internet user pointed out at his statement and said, "He calls his son “Barron Trump.” To which another one replied saying, "like that child is such a stranger to him. Not just Barron or my son like most parents would use when talking about their child." While another one wrote, "He calls his son Barron Trump poor kid."

Sharing Trump's Fox & Friends interview clip a user wrote, "A day after we learn about an 8th grader that Covid took from us." While another said, "Trump wants child labor laws gone He wants to party like its 1890s." Pointing out to POTUS's Covid days, another one wrote "Donald sounds rougher on this Fox and Friends interview than when he had the virus. Also, "I told them the story about Barron Trump..." is a peculiar way to reference your son."

Trump has tirelessly campaigned even during the Covid-19 pandemic. Although he tested positive for Covid-19, his campaigning never stop. This year is expected to see a record of voters who have cast their votes, as nearly 100 million Americans have already cast their ballots early. Despite this, it is entirely possible that the results will not be disclosed when the polls close on Tuesday night. As several important battleground states are allowing mailed ballots to be counted as they continue to be delivered over the next few days.
