He said he has “other plans” for the day, according to a report from The New York Post.

Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an update about Trump's move with his followers.

Hannity’s tweet featured an article that highlighted the 2024 GOP frontrunner will be holding a primetime rally in Detroit with the striking auto workers.

This came after Trump slammed Joe Biden for “electric car scam” under what the former President labeled “China First Policy.”

Soon after Hannity’s tweet, the internet responded quickly and slammed Trump, calling him a “hypocrite.”

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) about Donald Trump’s decision to skip the second GOP debate and wrote, “TRUMP: “The United Autoworkers are being sold down the ‘drain’ with this all Electric Car SCAM. They’ll be made in China, under Crooked Joe’s CHINA FIRST POLICY.”

In Hannity’s tweet, he attached an article from his official website titled, “POTUS OF THE PEOPLE! Trump to Skip Second GOP Debate, Will Rally With Striking Autoworkers Instead.”

In the article, it is reportedly confirmed by The New York Post that Trump will be skipping the second GOP debate as he will be rallying with the autoworkers next week.

As per the reports, “Next week’s rally won’t just be for autoworkers. The Trump campaign is planning on packing the room with more than 500 tradesmen, including plumbers, pipe-fitters, and electricians.”

Over the weekend, Trump criticized Biden, accusing him of failing to prioritize the interests of American auto workers by advocating for electric vehicles.

He wrote on Truth Social Sunday, “The United Autoworkers are being sold down the ‘drain’ with this all Electric Car SCAM. They’ll be made in China, under Crooked Joe’s CHINA FIRST POLICY.”

Internet dubs Donald Trump ‘scared’ for not attending second GOP debate

Following Sean Hannity’s tweet on Donald Trump joining the autoworkers strike and skipping the second GOP debate, the internet brutally slammed him for blasting Biden’s China Policy.

One person wrote, “Said the same guy who hired a Chinese government contractor for his golf course in Dubai, and her daughter got 19 Trade Marks from the Chinese government in less than two months. What a pathetic loser! Shame on you.”

Another commented, “He can’t debate because he’s too scared,” and one more had a similar opinion as they wrote, “Of course, he will skip the second debate. He doesn't need the humiliation.”

A fan simply slammed Trump with a sarcastic comment, writing, “China where trump has a 20million loan and all his hats made and pays taxes too and got ivanka over 20 patents fast tracked and who has the entire top floor of trump towerNy? That China? Ok!”
