The popular female rap queens Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj have officially ended their feud after deciding to collaborate on a new track, a remix of Doja Cat's viral smash hit, 'Say So'.

Doja Cat recently tweeted out the news to her fans, and told them - "YOU ASKED FOR IT - tweet #SaySoRemix to get a sneak peek of the remix ft. @NICKIMINAJ." So that revelation is sure to squash the rumors that there was bad blood between the two, because it looked like trouble was brewing, judging by their fans' reactions.

Some die-hard fans of Minaj and Doja got embroiled in a nasty war of words on the social media platform, Twitter over the last couple weeks. It all started when a recent Rolling Stone magazine cover illustration of Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion and Doja started going viral on social media. The fan's sketch contained a mock-up of what the new Rolling Stone cover would look like, showing the top 3 female rappers who are currently at the apex of the music industry right now. However, some fans of Doja, including the creator of the piece, started (harmlessly) commenting that they would have liked to see Doja in the middle of the trio, instead of on the side of the rap queen trinity. This sparked the ire and outrage of Minaj's fanbase aka the Barbz, who saw that admission as a threat to the sovereignty of their queen Nicki.

After their hate-filled and petulant comments started flooding the fan art post, Doja herself started wading into the action and said they were being “Twitter gangsters” and “immature.” Naturally, this didn't sit well with the Barbz, who looked on Doja as a pretender to the throne that was rightfully Minaj's. They pointed out that most of Doja's fans were fans of Minaj, considering that Doja herself was a fan and had modeled her sound on Minaj's pioneering style. They gave it to her with both barrels, starting a #DojaCatIsOverParty trend on Twitter, but Doja wouldn't back down, calling them “scums” who “mean nothing.”

The animosity between both fanbases had reached a boiling point when Doja tweeted, "People have been messing with me my whole life. I learned a long time ago there's no sense getting all riled up every time a bunch of idiots give you a hard time. In the end, the universe tends to unfold as it should. Plus I have a really large penis. That keeps me happy."

Thankfully, some sane people pointed out that it was merely a case of Doja defending her fanbase from attack and not necessarily a swipe at Minaj herself. So this new collaboration between the two rappers is certainly to keep both sets of fans happy, at least for the near future.

Some Doja fans were counting it as a victory saying "WE WON" and others were saying, "She chose Nicki for a reason." Both sets of fans were declaring it, "Song of the century already" and happy to get a track with "TWO QUEENS ON ONE SONG." So hopefully that buries the hatchet between the two fanbases for good, because it doesn't look like Doja or Nicki have any problems with each other.
